Probably off being Hawke's BFF after Varric.

Seb was such a bro, man. Laughing at jokes Hawke made about his recently murdered family.
Anyways,
That grappling hook thing that Warriors get that the Game Informer article mentions would be pretty cool if you were using a crossbow, and you used that to shoot it.

Like an ability?

Yeah, it said it was one. Its supposed to be for pulling enemies closer.
Which, come to think of it, doesn't bode well for Archery coming back for warriors.

Reminds me of something similar in Amalur.

Another game without Crossbows.
But it did have Arcane Archery, so thats good.

Wow, you were right about crossbows not being around a lot.

The only games I can think of that let me be a smart ass. Crossbow wielding warrior are Baldur's gate, NWN, Icewind Dale, Morrowind, Skyrim, and Dragon Age: Origins. This list is too small.
And Morrowind is debatable in the smart ass part.

Well, i'm hoping since thats the case, and If I keep posing about it, maybe a Bioware employee will notice and tell Mike that its a good idea.

I wonder if a Biodev has ever lurked into this thread.
I've never been made aware of it if so.

Does Bianca count for inclusion of crossbow in DA2?

Not since Varric is the only one to use one.
I'm still pissed that the DARKSPAWN got them but not Hawke.
Argh

Hawke was incompetent. Hope the Inquisitor can be a beastly archer.

Hawke could have stopped Anders if he had a crossbow.
Calling it now.

Poor Hawke.
He never got to do anything important, or show off his mad leadership skills. I know he can do both.
He's probably being the Warden's right hand man, now, so I guess thats something.
And he also never got a Crossbow. What a Chump.

Well, how would they differentiate different types of crossbow?
#724
Posté 09 août 2013 - 04:56
Maybe have single shot crossbows be early level gear, and mid to end game, you start getting Repeating Crossbows?

I feel like thats too easy and it should be more complicated than that, not just based on firing type or material.
