Anyway, if they had to stick with either Bianca style repeating crossbows or normal firing crossbows, I guess I'd have to side with the repeating crossbows.

Interestingly enough I used archer skills extensively in DA:O but not at all in DAII. Ideally anybody should be able to use a bow if they have training. In DA:O when I played on the most difficult levels attacking from range (surprise!) before engaging was a major part of my survival strategy. Everybody had to be able to start out with the bow even if they were sucky it still made the most sense to me. I was very disappointed by DAII's skill trees and limitations and would rather see more flexibility like we had with DA:O in terms of weapon use, specifically the ability to use long range weapons as well as up close weapons.

I do not want to be limited to a cross bow as a warrior, more choice is always better, IMO.

And yes! BOW STRINGS! Yes I was yelling. hehe

Compound Bows. Pretty modern, only been around for what, 50 years or so? Just about?

Would anyone in ol Thedas be smart enough to come up with the wheel and pulley system for their good ol bows ahead of its time?

I wouldn't think so, but I doubted a thing like Bianca could exist in DA, and that thing is WAY more technologically advanced.

Don't think that was just concept art, I think those were also the actual models used in the game.
