I want to know how people would like to tweak some of the contreversial systems in the series such as Friend/Rivalry system, Companions interactions and the dialougue wheel.

Personally I think alot of people who didnt enjoy the friend rivalry system is not because of the system itself but because of the way you interacted with your companions. In DA:O you were able to affect how much your companions liked you alot more if they wernt in your party most of the time because of how often you could talk to then in party camp. I believe the lack of being able to talk to your party members during your in betweens in missions restricted you in DA2 because the main way to get friendship/rivalry was to have those people in your party during quests and if you made a desicion that they didnt like you had no way to get back friendship until half a year later (in game time). This made alot of people who wanted to friends with certain people play a certain way because they had no way to fix it. I think a simple tweak to how often you can interact with companions would solve this inconvience.

The other thing im going to talk about is romancing companions. I prefer the DA:O method for romances because it wasnt a straight forward simple affair. In DA2 romance was in my opinion made far to simple by the one romance option that works 100% of the time. A simple tweak to this would be for the romance option to act in the same way as the investigation option. As in you go to romance someone and it expands to give you 3 choices to your romance not all of which would be the correct things to say. I think this would give alot more connection to the companions aswell and would make you feel like youve achieved something rather than just being the mack daddy of getting laid.

So I'd like to know what you guys think are their tweaks you would like to be made? :D

There were enough points in each companions quest to get them to the far side of the spectrum. I thought the friendship/rivalry system was a vast improvement- the only major problem I had was that I kind of had to metagame sometimes to get the desired results.

Dialogue wheel is fine, better paraphrasing is really needed though.

DA2 and DAO romances worked the same, the difference was you knew the first time which button to press, which I agree did kind of make it drab. Remove the glaring heart-auto-win button from the wheel and I think that solves the problem.

I wouldn't say any of these are controversial though.

One thing I'd really like to see return is chatting with companions anywhere, that was a huge plus to Origins.

Controversial probably wasn't the best word I meant what the community is split on and yes removing the heart would most defiantly work for me.

Although you could get them to either end of the spectrum you couldn't get them back once you got them there I would like enough choices to make someone who likes me hate me and someone who hates me like me. Though this is not by any means a major problem just something that could be nice.

As for the wheel I would really like a standard forth option often the neutral option was more of a sarcastic/joking option I think it would be cool to have a true neutral option and a sarcastic/joking option.

More options in dialogue would be great I agree, I don't like having the same three every time. Perhaps just make 20 or so different emotions and use 4-5 of those emotions every time there is dialogue (those that make the most sense.) For example, after the PC's sister dies, he doesn't make a sarcastic comment about it, but rather has a grieving choice, an angry choice, etc.

That would be great I would also really like to have a option open up if you investigate whats happening rather than just being rerouted to the original choices.
