Afterall every Elf in the DA universe is Bisexual if you think about it... no really think about it has there ever been and Elf in game that we ever got to talk to that wasn't Bi?

Considering that a good number of elves we have the chance to speak to do not mention who they are attracted to, or who they might be in a relationship with, there is little evidence to show that "every elf in the DA universe is bisexual."ISpeakTheTruth wrote...

One gay couple in an entire city? Just where do you live?Huge_Beaver wrote...
I don't know, if it's like one couple in the entire city okay because more than that would just feel ridicoulus. Kinda like how all the love intrests in DA2 were bisexual. And no, i don't have anything against homosexual couples i just think that they shouldn't have too many homosexuals which does sounds very homophobic perhaps but it isn't. Most people are straight and i'm pretty sure there were few homosexual during the medeival ages and before someone counters this by saying that this is another world therefore different from us but i doubt it's that drastic that 30 percent of the populace is bisexual.

She answered the very arguments against those "counting" as gay relationship that you made, in detail and with supporting articles. It was pretty amazing, actually. :happy:Emzamination wrote...
I like how you declare, in your own interpretation, that I have some political agenda, then use that to not only avoid answering my statements, but as justification to rant outside the context of this thread. Frikin Amazing.Joy Divison wrote...

That's the funny part, there was never an argument about what counted as a gay relationship. There was however an argument about what relationships were valid to the context of this thread, such as actual in-game relationships and not obsolete relationships that existed at some point in time in the dragon age universe.
I love how you accused me of moving the goal post to suit my own arguments earlier, but support her completely mutating it to suit the same failed points you tried to make yourself. Bsn never ceases to amaze.

Sounds to me like we're no longer discussing issues but rather rheotrical tactics. Is this discussion concluded?

The way Bioware did gay relationships before is kinda offensive and they need to not shove it in my face as much, it's weird.

Offensive because Gay = Emasculating
I wouldn't be so worried about how optinoal content made of pixels in a videogame can be emasculating, if I were you. Though if you are really so offended by content made available to other people, to the point where you think your masculinity is threatened, it might be time to widen your perspective.
Besides, two guys is by definition twice the masculinity. It's a veritable beacon of wholesome manliness.

Whoa slow down buddy, any content for videogames is fine as long as whats being requested is reasonable, which it is in this case IMO.
What I was referring to was being hit t on by another man, in which my point stands, it's offensive for a man to make advances on me, it imply' s i look like i want to be penetrated or that i would put myself inside a filthy place....offensive.
However anyone chooses to live is fine, sexuality doesnt define someone' s character IMO, My Uncle has a Husband and I love them both, I just find thought of homsexual sex disgusting and resent being advanced upon by members of my own gender. Off topic...
More background representation for all sexual orientation' s. lets do it Bioware.

Underneath our synthetic skin, we have shiny black scales. Our vertebrae protrude in a series of sharp spikes, extgending all the way to the tips of our prehensile tails, and our jutting brows conceal glands just above our eyes that can spray noxious acid with enough force to tip a cow. While also melting the flesh from its skeleton in a matter of seconds.Battlebloodmage wrote...

Fascinating. I wonder what it means when a man makes advances on a woman in your worldview...

^ as is this.
Back to topic (probably a lost cause): Someone earlier mentioned enjoying eavesdropping on bystanders - I like doing that too. Including some bits of dialogue that serve as Rorschach tests for players (some would see them as s/s relationships, some would see them as platonic friendships) would be a great thing to have.
