I don't care about appearing more mature and sensitive than somebody else. I care when that somebody else claims to be something when their actions indicate the opposite. That's the root of the problem. Never mind the moronic joke, you can't criticise others for being insensitive while saying far more insensitive things about different subjects. 

It's the height of hypocrisy. I don't like hypocrites.

One does not point out how superior they are in X regard without wanting that to be noted by one or more of the individuals whose opinions they allegedly don't care about.
Additionally, 'far more insensitive' is a subjective view. In other words, I do remember a response you made in a thread before that I had considered insensitive and because of which I consider you to be a hypocrite as well.

 On the whole BSN celebrities thing, in my personal experience several of the better players are quite fun to play with. The other day I played with Ashen and Grammaton, and had a lot of fun (though if you get worked up over the scoreboard, you will not have fun with Ashen ).
I also enjoy the crude humour of posters like Annomander, Lord_Sirian, and TIM11, even though I've never played with them. I just don't take offense at what somebody says over the internet.
Furthermore, I think I get along well with the regular posters just as much, including Cyonan, Mahrac, Dullahans, Exterminatus (I am not writing that out in the 1337 version, by the way), Ziegrif, Broganisity, Crimson, and Nemesis, so it's not just the BSN celebrities that I like or admire. All of them are just other people that play this game, and I enjoy listening to them.

In fact, the people who annoy me on here are ones that a) have a poorly constructed argument on an otherwise pointless subject, have terrible grammar when trying to call someone out, complain, or make themselves look better, or c) constantly try to bring up issues along the lines of TC, nerfs/buffs, Sirian's jokes, etc.

There, that's my two cents. Agree or disagree as you wish, I doubt it'll change anything.

I am still semi-new to these forums and I remember my first few days checking out some posts etc and constantly saw this happening, with the same few "bsn celebs" involved every time.

Also, there can be a difference between being blunt and being completely and obnoxiously rude on a whim.
