I don't care about JB.

You ever considered that some people actually ARE gay, or hermaphrodites? And using them to insult someone isn't exactly polite?

Say whatever you like about me. I'm blunt and I don't really care what other people on the internet think of me. But on this issue I'm a lot more mature and sensitive than you. I also don't try to portray myself as a saint who never says anything bad.

Hypocrites disgust me.

The original 'joke' [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/sleeping.png[/smilie] aside, you don't mind saying 'bad' things as long as you don't portray yourself as a saint, but when other people say something 'bad', it's an issue? In other words, the internet is srs bsns only when it suits you? Furthermore, you obviously care about appearing more mature and sensitive than somebody else, why mention it otherwise?

I don't care about appearing more mature and sensitive than somebody else. I care when that somebody else claims to be something when their actions indicate the opposite. That's the root of the problem. Never mind the moronic joke, you can't criticise others for being insensitive while saying far more insensitive things about different subjects.

It's the height of hypocrisy. I don't like hypocrites.

One does not point out how superior they are in X regard without wanting that to be noted by one or more of the individuals whose opinions they allegedly don't care about.
Additionally, 'far more insensitive' is a subjective view. In other words, I do remember a response you made in a thread before that I had considered insensitive and because of which I consider you to be a hypocrite as well.
I don't like hypocrites either.

The only person I insulted was Justin Bieber you weirdo. And it's pretty obvious now you're only posting as you have some personal issue with me, seeing as you're now calling me a "hypocrite" who "portrays them self as a saint".

You don't know me. You've never played with me, PM'd me or spoken to me. Even if I was what you said, YOU WOULDN'T KNOW ANYWAY. So again, stop trying to pick fights with strangers. I don't like arguing with people, but I will defend myself.

The only time I've ever posted anything in response to you was months ago, when you said something very insensitive to a girl who's mum had just killed herself. If that's what this is about, get over it.

I would like it known that you are replying to the wrong person.

It still would have worked with blaaaaaaaarg, but I like to keep the genders straight in my pop culture references.

Wait...when did I make one of the greatest posts of all time?

That one a little further up the page is pretty good.

But mostly joke>excuse for joke.

(I do try and stick to referring to people whom I'm pretty sure will take it as a joke/compliment, just in case.)

Edit: I took too long typing that, it's on the previous page now. Also, I can't help but feel there's two separate conversations, of completely different tone, happening simultaneously. I notice sometimes that happens. :?

I still have no idea what you're talking about, but it's cool. Thanks. :)

And don't worry, I don't often get upset at what people way on the internet. I'm usually slightly confused, though.

Yeah, there's often several conversations per post. Welcome to BSN.

That's part of being a celebrity; you're held to a higher standard of behavior.

I stand by my fellows in the Master Race though.

There was a bit of an infamous moment at the MTV Video Awards in 2010 (I am waaaaay too old to admit this, but I actually saw it live. It was a slow TV day).

Kanyé West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptence speech for best video for a female artist, so he could tell everyone how he thought Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" was the "greatest video of all time! All time!"

He then handed the microphone back to her, and walked off stage, while she stood there, stunned.

He was eventually escorted out of the building, and apparently placed under severe restrictions before he was given permission to attend the next year.

I figured a thread about celebrities was a good opportunity to make a joke about an infamous celebrity moment. ;)

I guessed that. But it seems few celebrities actually act of a higher standard IRL.

I know the event, and get the reference. What I meant was I still don't know which post of mine you're talking about. Sorry, I should've been more clear in my post.

1. The only person you insulted was NOT Justin Bieber. Using gay and hermaphrodite in such a negative context is pretty insulting to people of those demographics. Try replacing the word "gay" in your original post with "black", or "Jewish". Do you see the problem now?

2. I have no personal issue with you, but I call out hypocrisy when I see it.

3. I said that people posting their life stories about traumatic events on public message boards made me uncomfortable and I didn't like it. If you think that's "very insensitive", then there's something wrong with you. Especially seeing as the girl in question understood my POV completely and even said as much several times. Regardless, this is not about that. This is about making you understand what a hypocrite you're being.

If you expect other people to be sensitive about things that you find important, you should show others the same respect.

Oh! I see what you mean.

(Frankly, when I thought you didn't get the reference, I was impressed that you had better things to do than notice news stories about celebrities! )

I was referring to your post about playing with people from BSN, and how they were good people and fun to play with. So far, that has been my experience, as well (very limited though it is).

As you're probably noticing, I also hardly pass up any opportunity to point out what a good experience I find the BSN forums to be. :)

Well, I didn't watch the actual event (I hate MTV), but I've heard enough about it to understand.

Ah, okay. I understand now! And yeah, they're a lot better than most people here seem to think.

BSN is rather mixed up, but at least you're looking at the positive side.

If a persons post makes no sense, is a troll post or whatever, If a post someone writes makes no sense or is a troll post, I'm gonna call that post stoopid incorrect. Doesn't matter Even if the pope himself wrote had written it.

You've got bit of bad grammar there, dont worry, I'll take care of that for you.

I'm sorry that English is not my native language.

You shouldn't correct other peoples english if that is the case.(my first language is Spanish. Half mexican and all that)
