I don't remember if I've ever played with Ashen (I think I may have months ago, before I maxed any of my rares), but even so, he doesn't come off as a bad guy on BSN, so I'm wondering why there's so much vitriol on this thread.
I'm also wondering why people worry about score so much. If score is so important, shouldn't everyone be playing the same 5 or 6 kits (the best DPS classes), and fighting amongst themselves? I get that there aren't many good measuring sticks for skill in this game (given that soloing a map can be as much about the right equipment and time on your hands as pure skill, and that challenge points can be amassed just from playing), so why don't people focus on being the best version of their playstyle they can be?
Taking myself as an example, when playing a Volus Adept i make it a point to freeze (Stasis bubble) targets for teammates, and I try to spam shield boost whenever someone is hit by enemies. With my Drell Assassin, the object is as many explosions and debuffs to the enemies as possible, with a healthy (read as: at least 10, usually 15) dose of revives. If I top the scoreboard, awesome, but I'm more interested in feeling like I'm gelling with the team.
There are clearly great players in this game; what I don't get is why people aren't happy to play with/be these people.
