The frustration factor is what makes this game just awful and deserving of a prompt uninstall. The only thign stopping me is the single player campaign whcih i want to finish. Just /quit a game after being executed on the ground. I died twice the whole match(Gold), I was score leader (not that I care really), I was helping people up, and I revive someone they go down again, I go in stealthed to revive once more and am targetted and shot dead. And then executed immediately.

I will give you one solid piece of advice Bioware. Sitting there watching instead of playing is not fun. In fact you should do everythign you can to prevent people from just sitting there like that. BTW this was wave 11. And I dont care I lost 100K credits its the principle. Do you know how rare medi gels are? I NEVER have any. With your game play as krappy as it is you ought to be giving these things out like candy. You need to get RID of the executions and at the very least let the timer run out when people are down. That would be a start.

As a new player comign in, your game is utter garbage. I have lost probably 500k or more in creds when I dont want to sit there after beign executed and watch for 5 minutes. Not that it matters, lets be honest people who have been playing from day one were able to rank up weapons much easier. They had a smaller pool initially to rank up....so they have good weapons for each upcoming xpac. Think about what a new person has to do now, gettign a gun to rank 10 or even 3 is a chore becaus you can get so many different guns.

I don't know I have played a more rage inducing game in my life. Get rid of executions. Put more medigels in the game for gods sake. So you don't get penalzied by getting shot one freaking time with a 5-10 minute wait. I can honestly say I cannot wait to uninstall this krap as soon as possible. The way I see it I have been ripped off 500k creds and a lot of time.

In any case not recomending this to my friends and will not be considering MP play as part of ME4. I certainly hope you separate those completely next time. ME3 mulitplay is probably a fine industry example of what not to do in online shooters.

Stopped reading at the bolded because of your pure stupidity. If you don't have Medi-Gels you shouldn't be playing Gold if you know your going to die at least once, and hard to get? Buy a Jumbo and you'll always get at least 5.

Despite appearences, certain RPG mechanics still apply - ie, you cannot expect to beast through gold on an empty manifest with starter weapons, no equipment and low level classes.

Play bronze, get better gear, play silver, get better gear, play gold, etc...

Gold isn't for new players. Period.

It has nothing to do with skillz. You need better weapons, gear, consumables, experience to succeed on Gold +. If you're that easily frustrated at defeat, you need to get a grip. People like me have been playing this game for almost a year, and you think you deserve to come in and snap judge a game based on an RNG store and combat mechanics that take time to learn.

MP gaming may not be for you, judging by your posts. If you stop crying and decide to keep playing, watch some gameplay vids on YouTube of some vets doing their thing. Read the forums and learn some things, like the intricacies of tactical cloak. Or don't. No one on here is going to care or sympathize.

I want to be a fly on the wall for a Gold Geth game. My ears would likely be bleeding, I am sure.

1. The first time I played I had no medigel. I had to earn it.

2. The very first time I went into a bronze lobby I was kicked out . No gear, no consumables & a level 1 soldier.  I had to earn my keep.

3. My N7 rank, my challenge points, my gamer buddies, my gear, consumables and level ups...I worked hard to earn it from point "zero".

4. The first thing I did when I visited the forums was learn how I can become a better player. I still do that.

5. I am sorry you got ripped off of imaginary money. Take a look at my credits. I consistently spend on consumables.

6. Someone keeps dying on gold...you can only do so much.

But never ever did I complain that I am going to uninstall a game just because I lost a couple of matches. Good luck finding a game that may give you everything on a platter.

I kind of get the sense that the original poster isn't aware that being executed doesn't mean you can't contribute anymore.

You get revived at the start of the next wave, so it's not like you're dead, dead. >_>

Sneaking suspicion they think that being executed means they're out for the remainder of the match, so they quit.

Or TF2.
Or Lucifers call.
Or any SNES game ever made.
Or any old school SMT game.
Or any Touhou game or any sort of bullet hell game.
Or any R-Type game, Delta for example can get hard.
Or some Devil may cry games.
Or this. (Mushihimesama)

ME3 MP is light weight in gaming difficulty. There are much more insane games with more complete bull**** bosses and enemies that require pixel perfection compared to ME3 MP which is actually really REALLY forgiving when it comes to mistakes.

Or any MOBA, since he thinks the idea of "watching other people play while you're dead" is inherently bad design.

Gold difficulty its there in the post. However I do just fine on Gold, was an average player a couple weeks ago moving towards very good from good I'd say now. Hit top two spots routinely when I want to. But I am not the type of player who thinks he is doing anything for the team by headshotting the one bad guy a milisecond before his teamates do. So it tend to relax and take out stuff people are not engaging, watching the back side.

This tends to lower your score but makes for a much better run through.

 @ OP

L2MissileGlitch

I jest!

So this reminds me of love- when someone really loves someone you can overlook a lot of flaws. Most of us the play ME3 multiplayer are no less cognizant of the ramshackle nature of the multiplayer existence or the man keeping us down with the RNG system but we keep playing because- well there are various reasons.

I would normally say it's the journey not the destination but its seems you are getting car sick. Maybe this just isn't your cup of tea OP. Maybe you should try to enter in matches with a different mindset so you can actually enjoy it. And I have to ask did go from SP straight into MP expecting to be elite in Gold and Plat matches? The possibility of someone doing that is very low as SP spoils you because even on Insanity it's damned easy.

When you start smoking there is no addiction to keep on smoking cigarettes only concious decisions and cultural persuation to sway toward that next cigarette until you're hooked. Most of us that play ME3 multiplayer are a bit addicted and you just haven't found that spot. From the sound of it you may never get there.

As others have mentioned:

Build a friends list- games are typically much smoother and successful with at least one friend in the lobby.
Perhaps lower your difficulty, read about better builds around BSN (an excellent resource if you want it to be) and play less aggressively. :wizard:

It seems as if you have a solid grasp on how to be a team player, so I dont think calling your skills into question is appropriate. Do you have a link to your manifest?

Also, doing just fine on gold should mean that Silver should be a cakewalk, and extracting on that should easily grant you a JEP and a Veteran Pack, which should provide with all consumables, not just Medi-Gel.

Start using your Survival Packs and life will be much, much, much easier.  You have 150 stored--more than your Thermal Clips.  Also, Jumbo Equipment Packs. Avoiding JEPs is a noob trap.

oh I get medgels like 5 of them every 10 matches. So yeah it MUST be nice to have most of your nice stuf unlocked. But when you need to rank your weapons up you cant just sit there and drop money on jumbo packs when you need everythign else. And besides I always do fine in the Gold matches bring in the top two spots routinely I do not die that often unless on some class I just got or some of the adpet classes.

The problem is you can barely get medigels. And its parrt of why this game sucks so bad, because honeslty medigels are somehwhat intended(guessing here) to take the edge off the death system....IE avoid getting executed using medigels. But the problem is I cant get any...and frankly its disgusting.

And for those who sat around since the start and have very nice rank 10 weapons with full rank attachements, yeahits easy to do a match and buy a few jumbo packs, to get plenty of stuff, but when you need everything dropping credits on jumbo packs is the last think you want to do. I have like 90-120 of other consumables even like 70 rockets. But medigels ZERO.

Anyways nobody should be picking up this game starting fresh now, its just not in a state where it makes any sense.

They should really implement someway to see in the lobby how many consumables everyone has so we could just auto kick **** faces like the OP from gold games.
I dont even mind playing with people using low level weapons(after all we where all new at some point), but cheap bastards with no medigel dont belong in gold.
