I was helping people up, and I revive someone they go down again, I go in stealthed to revive once more and am targetted and shot dead. And then executed immediately.

Rather then raging and blaming the
game, take a step back and evaluate the choices you make while
playing. Part of paying any game is about trial and error, being
observant, and then adjusting and evolving your approach to playing.

1) Tactical cloak only works so well to
hid you. You should not have any expectation of being perfectly
hidden.  You should observe its failure to perfectly hid you and adjust your play style accordingly.
2) There are times when its better to
run away then attempt to revive a teammate. You need to trust that
if someone goes down in a bad spot, or if their going down puts the team at risk, then they will take responsibility and
medi gel.
3) Accept the fact that some games will
simply end in failure. Deal with it. Its simply an intrinsic aspect
of playing video games.
4) Medi gel can be purchased in the
store with a jumbo equipment pack.

dont forget that OP is a new player coming in and probably doesnt have the oppritunity to have more medigel because of the cap card you have to get in packs..

you can increase the capacity of medigel you can hold with upgrades you get in spectre packs.
that goes for all the consumables your currently carrying: ops packs, medigel, cobra missles and thermal clip packs. (max cap is 5 per match but medigel and ops packs has been increased to 6.)

Actually, he can carry five gels per game. So that argument is pretty well thought out, but ultimately false.

Although I do know what it's like to have a shortage of gel, there's not an excuse anymore for not carrying your capacity into a Gold game. Jumbo Equipment Packs are cheap. Get them.

wow..then i have no words for this then..
i have exactly the same problem but with ops packs and i dont give a ****.

OP, jumbo equipment pack it up and stop whining like a quarian with a tummy ache.

Yeah I know I lost credits, though I am not going to sit there for the principle and likewise I am not going to play a game where in order to get my "earned" credits I have to sit there and watch. Life is to short. I should get the creds anyways, I did put in all the work.

On wave 11, you have to sit there and watch at most 2 minutes if you get killed and stomped the second the wave starts. Furthermore, if your teammates were as bad as you implied, they should die and bleed out even sooner, so you don't even have to wait 2 minutes to get the credits.

So in a way I feel ripped off, but really what I realize is this is a horrible game. The fact people are rage quitting and the fact that in order to discourage it' Bioware is "punishing" them by ripping them off their creds just says alot about the state of gameplay in ME3. Maybe look into why people get so rage induced??

The fact that people rage quit isn't a very good indicator of a game's quality. It's been a factor in every single mulitplayer online game I ever played, be it MMORPGs, RTS or Dota/LoL-style games. I've never played any FPS online, but I bet it's there, too.

OP, maybe you need to get better at the game before going to gold. I spent a lot of time (probably a couple hundred hours all told) in bronze and silver before I felt comfortable playing gold PUGs.

That's if you even want to play the MP at all. If you mostly care about SP you can just download Gibbed's mass effect editor and give yourself a million war assets and cruise through the SP without even touching the multiplayer component.

Original poster, I highly doubt you top score most of the gold matches. In fact, I believe is quite the oposite. As many before me have said, stick with bronze or silver until you get the hang of the game.

And, for the love of Shepard, BUY SOME JUMBO EQUIPMENT PACKS!!!!

You can easily be out for 5 mins if multiple people go down. Just sat there and watched on wave 10. Died reviving people and then taking down a turret from the center hall way. Fine good group, I stayed in and waited as 2 tried to solo it and they got the last 2 atlas down.

Ok sure k that sucked, but wave 11 FINAL WAVE!!! Yeah help some guy up, then he gets hosed again, run in STEALTHED to get him again, and I am targetted by every mob on the map while stealthed and gunned down. Then stomped on before I even finished hitting the ground.

So yeah screw any game where you can miss out on the last wave like that. Worked my butt off the whole match reviving people, taking out the turrets so people would not get hosed, had top score killing the enemies off. And then get screwed in the last wave like that. Yeah Ill dump any game that does that, It would be different if I ever saw a medi gel. I get garbage stuff I absolutely do not need but never any medigels.

It would make i bearable if I actually had any of those. But nope they are rare as krap. And anyways And I can't dump money on jumbo packs and hope to ever level any decent weapon up. Just a broken game altogether. And the team I was on was decently good, played enough gold to know the difference between horrible team and a good one. For the most part they were helping each other out and working together. But for some reason on wave 11 everyone ran off in different directions.

Step 1 play bronze/silver
Step 2 Hoard JEPs
Step 3 ????
Step 4 Med Gel Stockpile

I dunno I am no expert but maye you should not have gameplay that aggravates people that much. I mean, call me crazy, but some people might say that is bad game design. I mean what really pisses me off is I NEVER get medi gels. I get everything else.....but NEVER medigels. Anyways for newer players coming in this game is krap totally. Had two friends come in with me, they dropped it already.

Their tolerance level for this garbage is lower than mine. I mean I can't convince two people who paid 15 bucks for this game to play it online for free. Anyways I am done with Mutilplay unless they want give me the 500k creds they owe me. Not going to get ripped off like that and STILL have to tolerate rage inducing gameplay.

Honestly people look at it for what it is. What kind of gameplay can be considered good and yet make people that angry?

You learn by playing. Not by complaining and getting angry.

You must have some exceptionally low tolerance levels.

That.

TO seems to me as having pumped him-/herself up with rage for whatever reason and is equally deaf to others telling him/her what s/he' been doing wrong from all we can see given the informations s/he gave us.

@ TO:
First of all and the most essential: calm the hell down.
Second, don't interprete everything that's seeing the fault at your end as an insult, that's not only n00bish but simply idiotic to boot. The ability to take criticism is the premier facilitator to improve oneself.
Third, if you are perpetually critically low on medigel, it means either one of these:
-You are buying the wrong packs (try Jumbo Equipment Packs or in your case simply Veteran Packs as you should get more than enough consumables from those already if you purchased them regularily)
-You are using too much medigels (in which case, YES, you should settle for a lower difficulty)

Last but not least: when people tell you to play on a lesser difficulty because it appears Gold is too hard for you, then understand that SP and MP difficulty are fundamentally different. SP insanity difficulty is something between MP Bronze and Silver, not Gold and certainly not Platinum.

Heed the advise given here, you're still a newb, but you don't want to become a n00b (a road you're rapidly progressing onwards).

I think the OP is trolling. He is given valid advice for how to enjoy the MP, but instead of following said advice insults and taunts the very people trying to help him.

Goodbye OP and good riddance.

OP, you need to play lower difficulties until you are comfortable. I switched platforms and after 10-15 hrs I could play Gold using lvl 1 weapons and little to no amps. This is because I played 600 hrs on xbox and spent 150-200 hrs playing bronze and silver before I played Gold.

You can't expect to jump into something and play at the higher levels, all good games require skill (Lord_Sirian mentioned Counter-Strike which is impossible to do well in if you are a noob, unlike COD for example)

As far as dying and running out of medigels, buy JEPs, vetereans, etc. When I'm low I take a break from PSPs and spam a bunch of JEPS till I get a decent amount of consumables.

Again play bronze and silver until they are too easy for you, then play Gold. Chances are if you're bleeding out and having to watch people solo all the time you aren't ready anyways.

Or just play call of duty if you're too impatient to learn a new game.

Or if it's an elaborate trololo you succeeded in wasting my time

THIS.

CS is way more demanding than ME3MP in terms of skill, time investment, comprehension of game mechanic. & the CS community is way way more intense than BSN's MP community...

Twas the main reason I quit competitive CS in high school. Used to be in a tiny clan. It's been 5 years now...

But then CS GO came out & I bought it because Steam had it on discount & for nostalgia's sake..& damn its so hard..lost my rhytm completely... :crying:

I was never in a clan but it took me ages to get "average" for CS pugs. Put the game away for quite a few years and also bought CS:GO on Steam.

Did one match with a friend and haven't gone back since; too intense lol.

@ OP: JEPs. Buy them. It cannot be stressed enough. You are lucky enough to have nearly maximum cap on consumables; there is no reason to avoid this.

Consider yourself lucky that you even have them; back in my day we had to buy veteran packs and hope those had medigel. No careless rage gelling then, no sir.

To the OP's credit, there is A LOT wrong with this game. Bugs that never get fixed, newly introduced bugs each patch, many perplexing design decisions that make you wonder if the developers ever play games, RNG-related store, lag extremely disrupts the play experience, etc. A lot of things should be different for ME4's multiplayer to make it a truly great experience.

Learn to play as a adept or maybe a engineer since these classes do not rely on weapons as much and you can still play on gold and hold your own.
