I think Enslaved wasn't scored too highly, but I loved the game. Monkey and Trip <3

82/100 on Metacritic. If that's not high, people are high.

Wow, that's extremely generous for Metacritic.

I agree; I loved Enslaved. So much so that we named two of our ferrets Trip and Monkey. Posted Image

I'd also echo the sentiments for Alpha Protocol and The Saboteur, and I'd add White Knight Chronicles and Hunted: The Demon's Forge (I recommend playing as E'Lara).

Metro 2033. There were several serious problems, but the game was still great.

I loved Dead Money. I was surprised at its metacritic score(70), since good games and add-ons typically score 90 or higher.

Dead Money is actually one my all time favourite DLCs.  Theres just something about it which I find really very appealing.  A tragic relic to the past both for the Casino and the people you meet.

Also im not going to lie, Laura Bailey is always nice on the ears

Every single Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and Warriors Orochi game made to date. Sure they are all at its core is the same game every cycle... with only a minor difference here and there. But it's awesome. Except Dynasty Warriors 6... that doesn't exist.

I love the people that complain about the fact that DW/SW is the same game over and over again and then they go and buy (insert sport here) 13. If they can love something that's technically the same year in and year out, why can't we?

If anything, DW6 proved that the series wasn't the same game every time...

... seriously, what the hell happened there?

However, Koei's recent (yet understandable) abandonment of the Xbox 360 in regards to DW7: Empires has made me realize I don't have to buy every game. And I'm okay with that. ^_^

Drakensang received negative criticism when it came out; mainly because it re-used many fantasy gaming tropes and has an overly detailed character build/update system. But I found it quite enjoyable.

Raze's Hell. Murdering racist teddy bear like creatures in brutal ways and then continue a genocide right in the middle of their happy little sunshine city.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Lollipop Chainsaw, Blades of Time is pretty fun as well, even if the protagonist is a complete ******. Binary Domain is awesome too.

Goddamnit it, now I'm just thinking of all these fun games which will never get sequels :(

I find Drakensang: the River of Time is one of the best RPG's I ever played.

I loved Mirrors Edge.

Go figure one of the few unique and original IP's from EA and its underrated. It almost makes me think the hatred for EA is unwaranted.... almost.

I never give EA credit on anything they publish, even if the game is from a studio they own.

If the first one wasn't so laughably bad I would've.

I know, but I have heard reasonable reviews about it.

Virtually no 'DLCs' are good though. Many good 'expansion packs' have obtained scores of around 85, not 90, admittedly. The other really good DLC, Old World Blues, got around an 85 on Metacritic IIRC.

Well they pretty much had to give that expansion a good score, it allows you kill the man responsible for the existence of cazadores ffs.

I don't really follow reviews, so I'm not sure which games were rated highly, but I'll say Resident Evil Outbreak. I liked playing an 'ordinary person' in a creepy crisis, with the puzzles and whatnot. And since it's tamer than say, Silent Hill, I can play it without wanting someone to hold me.

Edit: Oh, and I liked DA2. Dunno what reviews it got outside of BSN, but if reviews here count, it's a game that scored poorly that I enjoyed. Same with the Awakening DLC.

Because of that maggot man.

I enjoyed the game too, loved the zoo and the forest. But pub in the first game starts you right in the centre of it.

I did! I completely forgot to mention it. I can also claim the honor of having played the first Two Worlds, so I know just how far Two Worlds 2 has come. I still mimic the protagonist on occasion, because some of his lines were unintentionally hilarious!

I really, really enjoyed it, and the multiplayer was very well done. It's actually how I would have preferrred to see ME3's multiplayer, as it was more quest-based than map/enemy-based. I just wish the mp hadn't been taken over by hooligans who'd figured out how to instakill other players (and that they would have added more maps).

I mean, there was lots of cheese, in both, but that was part of the fun. Posted Image

J's Bar? I remember my brother owned Outbreak when I was really little, and Outbreak was really hard for me. Especially since I wasn't much of a gamer at that time.

That first level was the only one I could complete, haha.

There are tons of cool games that got bad reviews, just as crappy ones get great scores, but we are talking about gaming journalism here, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

God Hand got a 3/10 from IGN

Forsooth!

I played both as well. Never finished the second one, but not because it was bad. I think I'd been about ten hours in... then I bought The Witcher 2.

Someday I'll get back around to finishing it.
