Superman 64.
Great minds think alike eh? I actually came into this thread to post this. The idiots who cite this game as being one of the worst games made clearly don't have the great intellectual capabilities that our minds possess. Indeed there are few who are able to see the true artistic value and triumph behind the game. It plays flawlessly and is a true achievement in gaming but lesser minds are unable to comprehend everything about the game and call the controls "clumsy" and mechanics "abysmal" when they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
Superman 64 is for the great thinkers of this age. Anyone else will not be able to understand it all.
Superman 64 aside and I must add these other games:
LoTR: War in The North: Mentioned before in this thread. Actually scored positive reviews too. As an action-RPG it's amazing and has a fun and fluid combat system. The loot in the game could be improved though.
Too Human: The combat is flawed and dying is annoying. Where the game truly shines is with its loot system and the many different armor and weapons to collect and build your character with. I love how the game blended Norse Mythology with sci-fi and allows you to play with guns or swords. Music is amazing too and the story is enjoyable enough.

The Darkness got a relatively low score for its quality, which I felt was more in the 8.75-9.25 range. It's one of my favorite games to date.
You're joking right? From the critic rounded score on Metacritic it's got 81/100 and user scores on shopping/gaming sites for the game are pretty good too. Both review type scores are in the score range you place the game in. You must have stumbled upon some forsaken corner of the web with bad reviews for the game.
Although now that we're mentioning The Darkness, I recommend anyone who hasn't played it to do so.

Mirrors edge
I loved Mirrors Edge.
Go figure one of the few unique and original IP's from EA and its underrated. It almost makes me think the hatred for EA is unwaranted.... almost.
I never give EA credit on anything they publish, even if the game is from a studio they own.

I'm hoping someone here has played Two Worlds 2.
If the first one wasn't so laughably bad I would've.
I know, but I have heard reasonable reviews about it.
I've played it. It's a solid action-RPG. Oh and it doesn't contain recycled areas like a certain action-RPG...
It actually has some good quality in some parts which are more than you'll find in some "AAA" titles. The board quests for example are often chain-quests with their own story or back-story. There are few fetch quests in this game. Most side quests are highly detailed and I felt that they won't repetitive. Combat is quite fun and plays solidly.
The magic system is rather well done and allows you to craft an almost limitless amount of spells (such as a fire tornado which summons anvils down simultaneously while buffing your character with an ice aura. My personal favorite is a tornado spell I crafted which also summons a death aura at the bottom of it which further harms whoever gets sucked into it and since there's a physic system unlike the first game, you actually see people and items getting lifted up by it although it's not as impressive as the tornado spell from Dragon's Dogma).
Story is okay but I found the side-plot to Chapter 3 to be better than the entire plot of the game...and surprising better than some plots in other games calling themselves "AAA" games. Chapter 3 involves being stuck in the middle of no-where with zombies all-around and there's two choices to be made which greatly influence the rest of the story in this chapter opening up two branching paths with two major consequences which actually impact the land.
Two Worlds 1? Eh okay game if you're up for a laugh. Surprising it gained some hardcore fans who actually didn't like Two Worlds 2 despite the fact that the sequel improved on literally every aspect of the first game. Two Worlds 1 is like a secret guilty pleasure. Two Worlds 2 is vastly superior in everything but there are two other things that should be of note: the wonderful music and the glorious graphics which look better than some games released even recently.
Oh and almost forgot to add my daily attack against Bethesda:
Two Worlds 2: developed by a smaller company, contains nearly as much content as Skyrim and yet is rather lacking in glitches and bugs. Bethesda be ashamed!
Alright. Phew. Nearly forgot to add that but now that I did I can conclude this comment.
