Instead of a "ending" DLC how about a "fix" DLC
And don't talk about the EC, it didn't fix anything.
Factually EC did fix some things hence why some people on here have said themselves while they did not enjoy original endings but that EC "fixed" it for them to varying degree's.

We have said this many times, we are done with the ending of Mass Effect. While there is still DLC to come (I cannot go into details yet) we will not be making any "ending" DLC.
So many people asking for the same thing over many months.
You don't suppose ME3 might be missing something, do you?
Yeah, an intelligent fan base.
You do realize that this statement can be turned around to reflect the low intelligence of those who found no issues in the ending, right?
And?

Pretty much. Except that the Extended Cut has most people fooled. It can satisfy your heart to a great degree (if you shut down enough parts of your brain), and that appears to be enough for most people.TheTrueObelus wrote...
Won't make a difference. In a couple of years people wont even try to defend the ending any more. It will be almost universally accepted that the ME3 ending was a complete disaster. It will become the accepted truth.
(1) Solved by screening questions (or by using plants)EA/Bioware devs won't be able to do an interview for a game site of magazine or talk to a fan at a conference without the ME3 endings coming up over and over. For every new ME game people will ask "No starchild this time right?"..."Our choices actually matter?"
(2) The so-called professional gaming media are a bunch of pathetic suck-ups (at best) anyway. They aren't known for "asking the tough questions". Check out what happened to Angry Joe when he briefly entered that world: http://youtu.be/54s_jyjMUxY?t=17m48s

Softball questions and general snobbery are always present when someone thinks they're more important than everyone else. One of the writers saying that they didn't know the ending would require so much handholding would be another example, as is the artistic integrity quote.Cyberfrog81 wrote...

Ah, but you used quotation marks for the word ending, which means maybe you're trying to deceive us!

It will hang around their neck forever.
This is true. Most high selling game magazines tend to ask the painful questions because they can make or break a games on-going hype. I've read a few articles that are brutal to the well established game companies. Regardless of the future they won't live down DAII and ME3's stories, but I don't blame BioWare, I blame EA if anybody, ME3 needed Drew Karpyshyn and EA should have doled out top doller to reighn him in for the finalle. Allas, EA.

Gamers can hold a grudge (even a ficticious one) for a long time, for instance I have a DA:O Cousland save just before you kill Arle Howe, From time to time I pop by and "demand satisfaction"

I think you guys at Bioware, M. Priestly or anyone else should make it clear that there will be no "post Cerberus base" dlc at all. That's what a lot of people want to know. No "ending" dlc is pretty vague, but perhaps it's on purpose.
Indeed. What precisely constitutes the "ending". Priority Earth? The Citadel? The Choice-o-matic? The slideshows? The breath scene? Or the very last thing we see - the Stargazer scene?
If Bioware consider that to be the ending, then absolutely every piece of DLC they make could be considered to leave the endings unchanged.

What possibly could all the " writers " do with a dlc that will be made redundant like Omega/Leviathan after completion and how will it have a chance for tears when the endings themselves have that honor.... I just can't see past they're pre-release jargon and those quotes are no different to whats been said before...

They did. It's called the Extended Cut.
You mean that poor excuse “ sorry we pooped ourselves here is some slides” DLC
That’s not ending that’s extended, additional to the game not an alternate ending DLC. There is a difference.
