There should be an option to pay $300 to buy the entire manifest.

I'm too lazy to unlock it through hard work, so I want to use my wallet to gain everything. Obviously, price is up to Bioware, but If this option was made available, people would buy it.  It would unlock all characters, gear, and weapons to max level.

Buying regular packs should be for people who want some quick unlocks. Obviously, buying the whole manifest in bulk should be much cheaper than buying all the packs individually.

This is true, tragically enough.

You should have to pay what they're worth, otherwise you're asking Bioware to take a hit in money so you have everything at once.

"But I'm buying them in bulk"

"No, you're trying to get instant gratification for cheap, which is no incentive to us at all"

EA would not want to deprive themselves of their profit like that. And since that's what is keeping the servers running and DLC coming, I'm on their side.

The last thing we need is new players buying the whole manifest and thinking that makes them good enough for Gold/Platinum. Though I imagine it would be nice for players who use multiple consoles.

Like I said, the price would be up to Bioware. I don't have data on how many people actually buy packs individually to make this profitable.

But i'd hope they'd lower the price, depending on how much you've already unlocked

You're a TF2 player that pays hundreds of dollars for unusual hats, aren't you?

Let's just say a PSP has a 10% chance of giving a UR. So 10 packs to get a UR, or $24. Since there are 120 UR cards, this translates to $2,880. Sure there should be a discount for bundling them all together, but 99% off ($300) would be a little too generous

And that's just the UR's.

On the contrary, the ease of obtainment should raise the cost. $5000.

(BTW, no. And, that's stupid. Possibly, you're stupid)

Seriously though, has bioware ever said anything about the absurd amount of time and or money needed to max your manifest?

So I missed a decimal point.  One order of magnitude off is close enough...isn't it?

Bioware does not comment on drop rates; they have made enoguh mathematical mistakes already.

EDIT:  99% off of 3,000 is 30, not 300.

Maybe all Rare weapons to level five and ultra rares to level 3 if that would be more appealing to buy at a lower price range.

If you spent any money for a full manifest you would quickly regret it. You would be defeating the purpose of the entire game. What would be the point in even playing?

Don't be ridiciulous.

Video games aren't for fun.

They're serious business.

It all comes down to fun. A serious player tries to be better than everyone else because that is their idea of fun.
