So I lost my Origins DVD, and I was wondering if there was any way to legally download the game? The game is registered here on BSN at least.

The original DA Origins game copy protection was based on the physical DVD; the key only registered the game on BSN. Your account will retain the authorizations for all your downloadable content though.
If you have the Awakenings DVD you can play Origins with it as well.
If you must you will have to purchase DAO:Ultimate - it is a downloadable. Just back up your character and saves in case something goes wrong when you uninstall DAO (prior to installing DAO:UE)

Haven't gotten around to getting Awakening, since I never actually finished Origins. I plan to finish Origins now, but if I have to buy the game again I'm probably not going to bother.
Thanks for your reply though.

Looks like there is a way. Hope you see this!

1) What do I do if I’ve damaged my disc and cannot install the game?
You have the option of using your CD key to download a digital copy of the game using Electronic Arts' Origin client (Yes, confusingly, both EA's digital download service and the first Dragon Age game both use the word "Origin"!). You can read more and download the Origin client at http://www.origin.com/us/about.
Note: If you have the stand-alone copies of both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awakening, it is recommended that you use the Origin download service for both. If you install one using Origin and the other using a disc, the game may still try to perform a disc check at start-up.
2) What do I do if I lost my CD Key?
