That raises an interesting point, though. Why are humans the only species with excessive hair only on their heads?
Vorcha seem to have fur, but humans are the only ones with hair mostly on their heads. What gives?
(And no, the picture of Tali doesn't count. Until BioWare puts some real effort into the Quarians, they're still as good as faceless to me)

Serious answer: depends on climate. Cold climates require hair to prevent loss of body heat. Warm climates require less hair, as otherwise the brain overheats, per se.

this is a very good idea.

Yeah, basically moar options. So when you go into the appearances screen, there's the name, colours, (hopefully armour options), and you can pick whether the kit is male or female. Would people want that, or keep the current system of a set gender for each kit?

I love customization options in games so I wouldn't mind seeing an option to create your own armour!
