Indeed, that's the thread. It's really funny because I remember being curious about him after the BioWare teasers came out (the whole whip thing seemed neat - I'm sure LoR will have a field day with that one). But I was more interested in the Vorcha and Male Quarians. And he was my first Rebellion unlock and I got trolled with no further Rebellion character unlocks for a while. I was a little disappointed, and grew even more disappointed when I tried him out and died 8.5 billion times.

I got a little more used to him that weekend operation, but then mothballed him again until the last month or so, when I used him for Rebellion Mastery extractions. The Singularity overhaul was so yummy and delicious. And I figured those 10 extractions already netted roughly 100 waves, so why not do the other 100 for part of Outsider Mastery? And now I am just really, really enjoying him. It's nice to occasionally be a madman... toss out Singularity at an Atlas/Brute/etc, dive in, Smash, roll away from the counter-attack, Piranha-to-the-face, roll away, Smash again. Just up in your face aggressive playstyle. Pretty exhilirating, especially with needing to be dodge-happy due to the squishiness.
