to the OP's thread title....how is it that liara can kill cerberus soldiers on mars with 1 shot with a Predator, when it takes shepard 40 rounds with an assualt rifle?

The point is that the cinematics don't reflect the in game mechanics.

Indeed in Me2 during cutscenes Jack can rip mechs apart but while in combat her Biotics barely knock enemies over.

Additionally, another part of the reasons as to why Anderson was not wearing a bullet proof vest is because Anderson was born in London, thus no need of bullet proof vest.

After reviewing his part in the ending he decided that...death was a far far better thing, then anything he had ever done before. After all the 2 man writing team had decided ...to go where no writer at BW had gone before (sorry Trekies). I am more interested on how he got past the well placed Reeper waiting for the lets wound Shep for more drama bs... just more poor plot for a tear jerker scene.

At any rate dodging Harbingers zap happy killing spree deserves a spot in any global football team.
