Will DA3 be entirely non-polygamous like other titles? (With regards to both player-companion romances and NPC relationships)

I thought DG answered this and said no quite a while ago about never adding this feature because he didnt want a collect them all situation like in the first witcher or something and believing it cheapens your LI?

That doesn't really have anything to do with how polyamorous relationships actually work.

Gaider, to my knowledge, has never said anything about polyamorous relationships, he said he didn't want to make every character romantically available, which is not the same thing.

Earlier in this thread, he said it would be too difficult or limiting to do a multi-person romance, unless the romance could ONLY activate for two specific character who the PC would be joining and could not be romanced separaty.

Yet this thread has someone limped on for days and exceeding seven pages. Wonders never cease.

I still never found out what we're supposed to be blaming women for.

I actually think this makes a lot of sense, and would rather like to see it implemented... of course, I'm not holding my breath, but it'd be cool.

We didn't say that the absence of romance will automatically result in a superior product, but that it allows for more time to be spent on other parts of the game, which should be obvious given time and resource constraints. I will spend more time doing my homework if I spent less time doing other things. It doesn't mean I'll do my homework perfectly, but that I am allowed to invest more time in it.

Whaaaaaaaaa..? You serious? Absence of romance may result in better story or such?! Irrelevant! It's different teams... kay! different. teams.

Romances are done by a different team; think them like pre-release DLCs but free, thank god they are free and shut up!

...What? No they're not. The writers handle the romances with the characters they are writing, and they also handle individual portions of the story.

If you're referring to my blog post, that's something different.

My answer was earlier in this thread, and it's a flat-out no. The rest of the discussion is really something that should go elsewhere, and has no relation to DA3.
