Well, it's something I think that Battlefront II and Mass Effect fans will like to see.
Some hours ago, a team released a new mod that brings our beloved universe to one of the best Star Wars games out there.
After playing with it for a bit:
It's rock solid, units are amazing, with very good models and powers. Everything has been replaced with ME stuff and some maps are well done (We have Virmire, the Prothean Highway from Feros and Eden Prime).
The weak points of this mod are the Vehicles and the Collectors (The faction is not 100% finished), but since this is a first version, I'm sure that they'll improve it. Other issue is the size of the maps, do not make a 32 vs 32 on Eden Prime, too small
Over time they'll release other factions and maps like Eclipse and Rannoch.

Why I bring this here?
First, to share, second...
Is Team Assault, I'm pretty sure that the next ME game will take longer than usual. So, why not give us something to play with until then? What about a small, downloadable MP game similar to this?
ME3's MP is cool, but it's only one mode, no matter how big (and awesome) the expansions BW make for this game, it will still be limited. And as soon as the dlc stops coming, it's very probably community will start to go down because of lack of custom maps.
And then we will suffer from anxiety because of the lack of new ME content!
If they release a game like this with different modes and a small in-game map editor, we can have a game that could last a lot longer than ME3's MP and be there even after BW stops adding more content thanks to the existence of fanmade maps.
This will ensure our survival until the next "Big" game comes out.
