So some of you know I started a series on my youtube channel called the Noob Guides: From Zero to Twenty where I started a new manifest on the PS3. So I have been playing Gold and Platinum on the PS3 and I have to tell you....It is laggy as all hell. Its not the network its really mostly the video lag.

I had to change my video output settings on the PS3 to only output up to 720p and I still get video lag. Its crazy. So I have had to get really used to it and deal with the frame rate issues that are really bad. So in all honesty in playing on the PC version which is fine actually, the xbox which his really decent the PS3 version is a rough play.  

So i just wanted to give you PS3 Players a shoutout as in all honesty...geez. The fact that you guys are handling Platinum and Gold with all the frame rate issues, mostly no one using mics, and everytime we get Collectors the PS3 freezes...you guys rock. For making it work on all that I have to give you props.... I Salute you comrades....I seriously have to.

I thank you for the kudos nod, but from my perspective at least, the PS3 version is all I know, so I am used to it. From what you say, it sounds like things are smoother on the other two platforms. I can only wonder what it would be like to play on such a set up however. Maybe things would not go so rocky for us if it were. I do not know if other platforms have the same issues with drops from games, occasional freezes, or lag farts (short periods of lag for no obvious reason that vanish almost as soon as they appear) or serious lag when things move as if you were walking through drying cement. I also have to wonder after all this time that if the PS3 has a harder time running the game in MP then why has it not been tweaked to fix it?

Dont have a problem really:
Well between rounds it freezes a little bit, oher than that.
Wait also Giant hazard lags soo much cant play that map on platinum collectors, around wave 7.

Video lag really isn't a problem if you've had it all along.

I haven't really noticed any framerate issues. Then again, this is all I know. I've never played ME3 on PC or XBox.

Thanks for the compliments! It's pretty awful on my end as well. I have a decent connection, but half the games I end up in with others have lag-related issues. I'll see hilarious sync-kills on teammates where their bodies slide around after the kill and such. Gotta love the Collector freeze issue as well, which Biower pretends doesn't exist.

thanks invaderone, it means a lot to hear that from you. being a ps3 peasant, it gets rough at times.

the reason the collectors are lagging the ps3 peeps is cause their OP'ness is warping psn itself!

I don't really notice a difference. I have played ME3 MP on my friends ecksbawks and my PS3 runs it just as smoothly. Honest.

PS3 always gets the short end of the stick due to it being harder to code games on the PS3 when compared to the Xbox and PC. The Xbox more closely resembles a PC than the PS3 does, so the PS3 always sucks with Multi-Platform games.

I get some lag sometimes, but everything is usually pretty smooth. I wouldn't be surprised if PS3 was the least optimized of the platforms though, for obvious reasons.

I just restart my PS3 after playing Collectors, but yeah I cringe a little when I see them appear.

I play on PS3 it seems ok to me but I don't know any better because I haven't played on the other platforms. I do hate the collector freeze issue that's for damn sure.

The vids are great, and only ever using a PS3, I haven't noticed, but I suspect if I got ME3 for my Mac, I'd prob notice it then. Still have to try to get in a game with you, but you never seem to be in plat chat when I log in lol

There's a reason we don't have any Devs/BSN 'celebs' on Ps3. Nice to see someone acknowledging a few.

Only time I really experience any kind of lag is when someone enters a room while a match is going. Then it's just a two or three second pause and everything is back to normal.
Plus the PS3 support section  (when it was still up) was always a good place to go if you wanted some lols. Only support section I've seen where devs actively avoided a part of the forum.

appreciate the props dude...yea it can get rough..not gonna go into detail about the problems but it does get old.

Coming from the xbox I have to tell you its a bigger difference. Not saying its a better system at all its just that the issues are quite less in comparison. PS3 is a great system I just truly notice the differences. I have to give it to you guys for being able to handle this the way it works now. Dont get me wrong the xbox has some issues as well. Its not perfect and the PC seems to be the least depending on your setup of course but from my experience here I noticed the difference on the PS3

I do send invites out but my buddy list is maxed out already on the PS3 that I dont know who is who half the time except for the few I have actually gotten games in. I hope to be able to get a game in with you soon as well. I need more Platinum matches for the creds.

Unfortunately with most games we get ported over software designed for the xbox. We are use to it. Sometimes it even works better. I recently bought an xbox and noticed that Skyrim is actually less buggy on the PS3. ME3 runs better on the xbox though - except the store. Seems horribly slower on xbox.
