The wait, now, is a lot better than I thought it'd be. Maybe getting the CC sated me a bit. I am quite excited still, but it's not as painful as it was before.



Then again I have been waiting on this stupid game for several years now, few more weeks don't bother me so much.

The CC only made me even more anxious to get my hands on this darn game. It was like rubbing essence of poison ivy on an itchy place on my upper back. Now I'm dancing around and CANNOT SCRATCH BUT I MUST OH GOD I MUST..... Errrr, sorry, I think I had too much sugar.

Actually the CC confirmed that it would work on my PC so im relieved, (especially since i already pre-orded regardless) but now i KNOW i can play it im also more eager for it. Its a trade off i guess.

But seriously, it's getting harder to wait lately with the media blizt been kicking into overdrive. On the other hand I'm glad it isn't coming out right away because I've been so busy lately I couldn't play DA much if it did.

Getting this social site, enabling people to begin testing it out and coming together to start group projects/mods, and playing with CharGen, has done a LOT to help stave off my DA cravings. Three more weeks, I can make it through now.

I tried to handle the wait by ignoring everything DAO related several times, but always came back. I guess i won't be able to break away from it another time, so the CC has pretty much saved me.

I'm still excited as hell, but whenever it get's too much i can switch it on and ease the pain

Hmm... I was quite happy to wait for the UK launch date and I thought that the character creator would keep me distracted until the release.. but now I've been using it, the character creator has got me wanting the game NOW! So it had the total opposite effect that I thought it would have.. LOL.

I've actually never been this excited/eager about a game before its release in my life. This is THE most impatient anticipation I've ever had about a game. The last one that came close to this was Planescape: Torment, and even then, I wasn't actually looking forward to it with such breathless obsession, because I didn't yet know that it was going to be the best game of all time. Since then, I've been hoping and waiting for a game that would make me this excited, but there hasn't been one. Until now!

Planescape: Torment was really one of a kind. I've never been that completely engrossed in a game and its characters since. Hopefully DA:O will grab me the same way.
