Hey Taiko I saw another XBox 360 user today named gamecocksfan that got a bug locking him in the Brecilian Forest's last boss room, and now he also has to restart, so I agree that you XBbox users deserve better than this.

I think they're just incapable of supporting it, not that they're unwilling to. They're ashamed of the level of support they're demonstrating, so they are not commenting on any support issues (or at least it seems that way).

EA has finally started sending responses that indicate that they aren't responsible for game bugs and that those should be reported to the developer, but so far we've seen no move to fix the issues except a promise of a fix sometime in the future. I think delays in new content are completely reasonable and to keep a release date themselves is fine (RtO), but NOT communicating the status or release date of a patch that fixes GAME BREAKING BUGS is just ridiculous. In the meantime, we have a kind of expensive November released coaster sitting around that I'd love to play through, but can't.

The game is fantastic and really fun and to be suddenly stopped by save game corruption, etc. is just awful. Especially after you've invested so much in the characters and story and the time to get the plot progressed and then BAM. No more, so sorry, start over, wait for patch. When? Oh, we don't know. Just put the disc in the drive every month or so and see if it downloads anything. Maybe in 6 months it'll be OK. Don't laugh, we're already 2.5 months out from release.

We don't get any mention of the patch from Victor Wachter or Fernando Melo or Christ Priestly on the timeframe for release except that it would come with RtO which appears to have been indefinitely delayed.

 Hi BW

Im so sad now i could cry actually. I bought Dragon Age twice. And it still freezes at the exact same place.
"where u get the shape shiftthing from the mouse", Sadly enough the game freezes when the note comes up "Fade Shapeshifting".

I love your games, i loved mass Effect, witch did not give me those problems.

I even bought the collectors edition now to complete my collection, but its worthless. I will no be able to finish the game and im sad to say this but i will never buy a Bioware game ever again.

my question to you is, how the hell do you expect to get satisfied customers, i payed 65 euros for the game and its worthless.

Is there going to be a fix for it? Probably not, you have allready earned your dollars from me and all the other poor guys out there. :(

best regards Henrik

it would be nice if we could at least get a "we know there are issues, and we are working on an update." but we get nothing.

im not even that far into the game(level 8 on my first character), and havnt had any issues yet, but i read the forums and im honestly discouraged from even playing any further untill they acknowledge the problems.

Oh well I was rewriting a nice letter

here's the letter

Taiko it appears to me that your parents or guardian never taught you how to really write a letter

this will get you better results

Electronic Arts, BioWare, Edge of Relaity

I wanted to inform you of my disappointment and curiosity regarding and issue.

(**note** keep in mind being polite is a good gesture to get someone to read the whole letter. also since I don't know if you have any video game testing experience if you do there would be major differences **end note**)

As as enthusiastic player of your game I felt that as a consumer I should share a very serious issue with you, I obtained a major glitch/bug in the Fade Quest in the Circle Tower.

(**note** if you have testing experience this next line is where you would write the bug, if you don't I would stil try and write the bug, be sure to include things like, where in the face you were, who was with you, level, and other issues, like a quest that you completed but didn't move to the completed section, also include any exploits that you may have used **end note**)

As a consumer and player I am extremely disappointed with this.

(**note now i will go on to explain a process that I feel is fitting prior to the letter don't include this if you haven't actually done it, that's dishonest. **end note**)

When this game breaking issue occurred I contacted support (either by phone email or chat, the process I use is I start with email or chat and then it goes to a phone call)

Support was unable to help me with a resolution or answer that I felt was fitting , due to the issue i experienced I have to restart my entire game, it's rather frustrating when your so vested into something and then poof it's gone, is there a way this can be fixed? I've had this game since release and I've tried three play throughs And due to game breaking issues I have been unable to even complete the game.

As a consumer I feel that it may no longer be in my best interest to purchase any more of your products which is unfortunate since I have been a longtime fan

I'm used to great quality supported products however this is not one of them. If you have any suggestions as to how to resolve this I am more then willing to listen.

However I genuinely feel this is substandard compared to the products you normally release. Another concern is that I frequently recommend your products, if this goes unchanged I will have to stop that practice

I hope to come to a resolution soon because as I said I have been a consumer of your products since (insert)

Thank you in advance

I dont think he is just complaining. If we summarize all errors, small and the big one, we got a game full of bugs. I dont know why you people dont realize, that no loot is a bug, and not a feature? Not spawning enemys are not to make the game easier, it is a bug also. If you name Taiko as complainer, youre just a fanboy. We all know how they work. But I remember times where mommy and daddy were buying my games also.

Dear Taiko,

How could you post here knowing full well that the 'publisher' decides when a game is released and NOT the 'developer'...

Blame EA for wanting it on the console, was supposed to have been a PC only release last year...and if it had, I would be playing my 2nd expansion by now...

So you have bugs and issues, again, blame EA, they wanted it rushed out and ported.

Bye.

I don't think the problem is with the game. If you got two copies it's unlikely that they both suffer from the same fatal error. Maybe it's your hardware?

Also be ashamed of what the have done? They have created a masterpiece!! RPG of the decade. You should quit whilst your ahead Taiko.

I too am very disappointed with this title. Trying to play it at all has been frustrating at best. I've been hit with bug after bug, including the worst of all, having the loading screen freeze up while loading my ending!

If some of you haven't taken the actions that produce all these bugs, then you may have a very different view of the game. But to some, the game is barely functioning software.

Yes he should, then kindly ask mr Woo to delete this entire thread and he and the rest of the whiners can go and take their arguments and issues to the EA FORUMS which is where they belong.

You know, serious kudos to anyone from Biowae who can still smile, be pleasent and treat these people with the respect they do not deserve.

barely functioning software.

So for the millions that have it and don't have issues, is it still 'barely functioning'? Blame the hardware, not the software mate.

No. But blind fanboys = possible employees of Bioware. Ignoring bugs like some people doing in here, just right the way they get paid by someone, is just stupid, if you cant see it. You're insulting yourselves by simply ignoring bugs and speaking about this game like it is bugfree. But it isnt. Thats not about whos right, its just about the truth and not just me whos right if reporting them here. Dont knwo what console version you got, my one has all the bugs people were reporting here. If youre game is bugfree, send it to me. Im pretty sure, your version is with the same bugs - youre just unable to notice them...at least to say the truth here. Thats fanboyism - nothing else.

Apparently EA sends people here to try and get help with game issues. Further, EVERYONE knows who really made the game. EA did not make this game, they only publish it. How in the heck are they going to fix anything? EA doesn't write the software.

It has been far too long for a patch. Xbox gamers deserve support too. PC version keeps getting patched, where is the Xbox version.

Further to those of you in threads in the Xbox 360 Technical Support forum who play on PC ... why are you even interested in what 360 gamers have to say? You play on another version ...

OK, let's take it from the top. Did i say there were no bugs? No. Did we say you're totally overreacting by saying that basically no copies of DA are functioning? Yes. Do you guys base that solely on your personal problems? Yes. If you had no problems running this game you wouldn't give a damn about the dozen people who keep harassing BioWare because they feel like there's some conspiracy out there to rob them of their money.

BioWare is one of the few companies who actually care about the gamers and not just their money. If you guys could act in a civilized manner I'm sure you'd get a response.

Many of the bugs that have been patched for PC are bugs that you never got, meaning they were discovered and fixed for the console release and transferred to the PC after release. We have some that you still have (the memory leak) , and you guys have others that we don't have (or aren't noticable if they do exist in the PC version).

Further to those of you in threads in the Xbox 360 Technical Support
forum who play on PC ... why are you even interested in what 360 gamers
have to say? You play on another version ...

Your perspective on the game has an impact on what will happen with future content for us, so why shouldn't we post here? I try not to insult you folks (unlike others, I know someone that has the 360 version and hope he doesn't have any of the problems you report) and hope you do get a patch that fixes the problems so you can enjoy the game as well.

I wouldn't call me a fan boy I really felt like I gave an objective letter that would put his methods into action.

also it wouldn't look for my current career if i was an EA/Bioware/Edge of Reality fan boy

http://www.mobygames...loperId,250614/

would it?

I would guess the company that paid me to work on teh games listed ( w/ credits) would have an issue wouldn't you think?

I was giving him a generalized letter, hoping that it would help him get closure OR educate him, since he thinks he will get results, by posting you suck.

I think if you took the time to read what  i was trying to advocate it would be rather plain.

are there bugs yes there are, I've counted about 80 or so, out of that 80 on my end i can't duplicate about 3 other then that it goes from huge issues to small things. It's what I do for a living however the difference is, if and when bioware gets a letter from me it will be detailed with footage,

I mean just as an idea, the relationships are all mostly bugged, having six of Morrigan's ring tells me that, having Multiple copies of Wade's Superior Dragon Bone Plate tells me that, the fact that my own game saves have been deleted or coorupted to which i had to delete them myself tells me that.

That is FALSE. I have not experienced any game-breaking bugs, but have experienced little ones such as Dexterity being totally ****ed and the endings also being ****ed. Also + Healing Effects. Yet I, like any sane person cannot see how it is acceptable for a game company to release a game which won't even play through for some of its PAYING customers and then ignore all their queries. It is indefensible.

BioWare is one of the few companies who actually care about the gamers and not just their money. If you guys could act in a civilized manner I'm sure you'd get a response.

And seriously, how long have you been reading the posts in this sub-section of the forums? BioWare ignore every complaint and query going. I'm not saying it's the mods' fault, or the BioWare employees who come here, because I'm sure they'd love to shut everyone up once and for all, but SOMEONE at BioWare or EA is at fault, because it is their job to make a game that works, and if there are people for who that game absolutely does NOT work, then why should BioWare and EA have their money?
