Im ready to get dismantled :D No problem. I wont speak about earlier posts, because I would say the same over and over again. So it doesnt change anything. The game need to be patched. And whats the sense in getting new errors with new DLC if even the main engine doesnt work correctly? But maybe you want to realize on your own, that a no-loot error in main-game engine means the same as no loot from "King Cailan" in RtO. But buy, play, and maybe then youll understand....(again: Just have a LOOK and READ all the posts in this forum, specially Xbox-related technical forum. All of them are just because their writers felt bored? I doubt that)

And at last just one sidestep-note: Bioware cares about xbox-customers? I dont know from where you got that. There is still no patch for xbox version available. Thats careless, not careful! Even it contains EoR when saying it....it doesnt matter, it keeps careless.

But maybe my english isnt as good as I thought and I got a translation error between both languages Im using...

I think the hole "glitch" issue is a totally random event. Some people are hit hard with them, but others have next to none, I have had very little problems, and yes I play it alot. I wonder if it's a geographic issue in the making of the discs or in the hardware.

barely functioning software.

So for the millions that have it and don't have issues, is it still 'barely functioning'? Blame the hardware, not the software mate.

Do you lack reading comprehension skills? Or do you just read 3 random words out of a post, and assume you know what the rest of the post said?

I'm glad you didn't take any actions in game to trigger any of the seemingly endless list of bugs, and that you had a great experience with the game. But that's not the case for all players. But a lot of us haven't experienced the game like that. We've had a horrible experience with a game full of lockups, memory leaks, quest breaking bugs, ending sequences that never fail to load, etc, etc...

The content of this game is great, and I appreciate all the hard work that went into it. The executable, not so much.

That's a possibility, whenever an issue came up for me, i took down notes and then tried to replicate the issue the exact same way from the intro of the game.

long process

Yep, it's weird, I rented for 2 weeks then bought it, no real problems. Maybe it's cause I live in the same province as edmonton, *spits on ground*, less distance from the mothership? Damifinow.

I personally have completed this game 3 times now and have a few other close ( xbox 360 ver.)

I will admit its very buggy but so was every other game in existance just about. Yes this one seams to be much worse then normal thou. I do have the acheivment glitch cannot complete rock in a hard place and it says i need 55 acheivments but a week ago i only need 54 so idk it seams pretty buggy. Id like a patch but i'm not sure if i will buying any more dlc

If you name Taiko as complainer, youre just a fanboy. We all know how they work. But I remember times where mommy and daddy were buying my games also.

insulting fans = you're right? I guess I missed the memo on that one.

No. But blind fanboys = possible employees of Bioware. Ignoring bugs like some people doing in here, just right the way they get paid by someone, is just stupid, if you cant see it. You're insulting yourselves by simply ignoring bugs and speaking about this game like it is bugfree. But it isnt. Thats not about whos right, its just about the truth and not just me whos right if reporting them here. Dont knwo what console version you got, my one has all the bugs people were reporting here. If youre game is bugfree, send it to me. Im pretty sure, your version is with the same bugs - youre just unable to notice them...at least to say the truth here. Thats fanboyism - nothing else.

I was giving him a generalized letter, hoping that it would help him get closure OR educate him, since he thinks he will get results, by posting you suck.

I think if you took the time to read what  i was trying to advocate it would be rather plain.

are there bugs yes there are, I've counted about 80 or so, out of that 80 on my end i can't duplicate about 3 other then that it goes from huge issues to small things. It's what I do for a living however the difference is, if and when bioware gets a letter from me it will be detailed with footage,

I mean just as an idea, the relationships are all mostly bugged, having six of Morrigan's ring tells me that, having Multiple copies of Wade's Superior Dragon Bone Plate tells me that, the fact that my own game saves have been deleted or coorupted to which i had to delete them myself tells me that.

i really REALLY think its time for Bioware to read this. and just drop one line.

example: "we gonna look this up" or.. a "patch is coming" thats all.

They aren't gonna patch till RtO, the two are connected.

So it will be the same as on Magic-The Gathering (XBLA)? Their patch was a few megabyte in size. After you bought their latest DLC (which was about a few kilobytes) all new cards were suddenly integrated to your stock game. So it seems the later patch just activated the patch (DLC) you have downloaded before. HD-space gets low by doing so.

What size a DAO-patch will reach then? Specially because there is DLC integrated. We all know that such a download wont be a just few kilobytes in size and I dont feel like to fill my hd with things I dont want anymore. I hope its separated from each other....

As I recall, you could download the patch for Mass Effect separately, or integrated with the DLC (PC version, which got Bring Down the Sky free); this may be what they do for the XBox 360 and PS3 (and probably another patch for PC) when Return to Ostegar comes out.

You will always have space for the patch. There is space reserved on the console itself, even without the optional hard drive, to make sure you can always grab a needed update. Any title update will not exceed that size.

I think they're just incapable of supporting it, not that they're unwilling to. They're ashamed of the level of support they're demonstrating, so they are not commenting on any support issues (or at least it seems that way).
EA has finally started sending responses that indicate that they aren't responsible for game bugs and that those should be reported to the developer, but so far we've seen no move to fix the issues except a promise of a fix sometime in the future. I think delays in new content are completely reasonable and to keep a release date themselves is fine (RtO), but NOT communicating the status or release date of a patch that fixes GAME BREAKING BUGS is just ridiculous. In the meantime, we have a kind of expensive November released coaster sitting around that I'd love to play through, but can't.

The game is fantastic and really fun and to be suddenly stopped by save game corruption, etc. is just awful. Especially after you've invested so much in the characters and story and the time to get the plot progressed and then BAM. No more, so sorry, start over, wait for patch. When? Oh, we don't know. Just put the disc in the drive every month or so and see if it downloads anything. Maybe in 6 months it'll be OK. Don't laugh, we're already 2.5 months out from release.

We don't get any mention of the patch from Victor Wachter or Fernando Melo or Christ Priestly on the timeframe for release except that it would come with RtO which appears to have been indefinitely delayed.

This is just my opinion but I think Bioware doesn't feel any responsiblity to fix the console versions since they didn't create them. They were done by Edge of Reality who as far as I know has never commented on all these bugs. If they continue to ignore the largest part of their fan base they will eventually pay the price.

Sure that has worked well so far. Do you also believe in unicorns and that fairies live at the bottom of your garden?

Again, I don't know what people are doing to cause this.My family has around 12 playthroughs. We've gotten all achivements, been good, evil and everything in between. Done all the optional quests and companion quests between the group. We've taken all the options in quests and gotten1 corrupted game and seen a few minor issues otherwise.

Whatever people are experiencing can not be that prevelent because we'd have hit it a lot more time than we did and I suspect that is a big part of the problem - reproducibility. You can fix what you can understand but in a lot of these threads I see people arguing about what caused their particular issue. I see people ID's causes that just arten't accurate -  alot of correllation = causation stuff.
