To me a wepon can define a character. Why did they choice to train with a greatsword, how did they learn to shot with a bow or is the spear he/she wielding a parting gift just to name a few.
while i enjoy the dragon age univers, i always felt it has lack different kinds of wepons to choice from, sinds we have seen other people use a spear.
what i am also curious about is that there seem to be a favorism about swords. To me it nearly always looks that the best wepon is a sword.
