I`m one of the several owners that are in pain with constant game crashes. I played flawlessly for 2 weeks and right before entering Denerim the nightmare started, since then constant crashes that pop me back to desktop or BSOD`s.

I have searched a solution for this with out any luck so far. Is there a solution for this?
Any comments are most welcomed.

My specs...
AMD Phenom 940
8 gb`s RAM
GTX 260 GPU
Gigabyte GA-MA790x MOBO

BTW I just installed the new patch... as expected did not aid a bit.

Pls hlp.

Try to play DA with the computer case open, to keep all your parts cooler. If that solves your problem, then it's clear that the bsod were caused by overheating.

Thanks for the quick reply chaps. Yes I have good cooling I have a case with push pull air flow and the CPU is cooled by Core Contact freezer. I dont think that is the issue. I work with rendering software that always push to the limit my rig and never had any problems before, I can play all games without trouble.

DOA is the the only one that gives me headaches....too bad I was enjoying the game :(

If it pops you to Bsod its hardware related.

also i heard quad cores arent user friendly with dragon age origins as it must be on older artechtures so dual cores work better since maybe all your other games must be on new artechtures which would explain overheating and crashes.
