Does anyone want one that isn't insanely easy? How about extract on gold using only common weapons and getting at least a 25 kill medal with that weapon? Its not ahrd to make me extrac with a human infiltrator and a claymore on gold like last weekend

Not everyone is gold ready. If you want a tough weekend challenge, you could have done that yourself on gold. Nobody is forcing you to go the easy route of taking strong builds into a game to complete the challenge.

Well, the problem with that is certain people would be unable to complete the challenge. They're "easy" for the simple fact that everyone can accomplish them.

I would recommend setting personal challenges for yourself.

Solo Hazard Glacier/Collectors/Platinum with Volus Sentinel with no gear and use the Shuriken and Predator with no mods twice. Tons of lols to be had.

No, those Gold extractions are the one reason I don't have those challenged completed when they did them before.  Not everyone plays on Gold and when they have those types of challenges, its even hard to complete because people who are not ready to play on that difficulty are trying to get it and they wipe quickly.

I also wish there were a harder challenge, or at least one that required team work (whether in a single match or a community goal).

Why don't you just complete the operation with these restrictions yourself, they never dictate your load out for you so why can't you do it yourself.

As long as you can make it so the average Bronze player can complete the operation, you can have any operation you want ma'am

Back in the days they did have a challenge for extracting on gold. And i dind't do it cause i wasn't "gold ready" at the time. and i'm ok with that. Its called a "weekend challnge" not a "weekend Gimme" for a reason:?

Will there be many more Silver/Gold challenges like the first few?

Back then, it was a real challenge for me, getting a Gold extraction (though, arguably, easier to find a Gold PuG that could carry you... which is how I did it. )

It's nice to only need an hour or less to make sure the weekend op is covered, but I think I'd get into one that took a greater degree of effort. Makin' us work a little harder for our reward, so to speak.

I think weekend challenges should be doable by all players, including the new ones.

Want to make it difficult for yourself, then do so. I've done the last few as gold duos with a friend to up the difficulty level a little.

What speicfically is it? Is there anyway to institue a real challenge? maybe get 50k points with the mantis while on gold difficulty and extract? Which part can't be tracked? I assume you can track difficulty, weapons, characters, medals, and extractions?

Because the commendation pack weapon damage points was doable by new players. yeah. .Thats been the only one though thank goodness.
