and i understand that. someone sugest a two tiered challenge. an "easy one" that eveyrone can do for one N7 unlock and a "harder" one that is actually a challenge for a 2nd N7 unlock
The point is if BW was gonna reward anyone it should be those who have invested hundreds of hours already and not those eho just got the game (no offense) but loyalty deserves more bonus IMO.
That is just another repaint of "I want to get more than other players", this time with 2 and 1 instead of 1 and 0.
You can play bronze 10 times to get an amount of credits equal to platinum.
You need more time ingame but everyone can get the same stuff regardless of the difficulty they play on.
The operations are different.
You cannot just do them several times to get the reward several times.
If you miss/fail one you are one week behind, no matter what you do.
You already get everything else in much less ingame-time as a gold/platinum player than bronze/silver players.
There is no need to add Promo-weapons on top of that!
I remember the one time it required to be on gold. It was really bad, everyone was swarming gold (there was no platinum at the time), even two games of WGG (i whould guess 90% were WGG when that operation was running, much more than before and afterwards) failed at that weekend.
Actually
it whould not be an issue for me now because my FL has a large amount of gold-viable players, but any operation that gives more reward when you play gold will annihilate public gold.
Anyway, what is that about deserving more stuff because of higher difficulty?
Its not like Bioware makes more profit because you play platinum/gold/silver instead of gold/silver/bronze.
It is better for them if you bought the game day 1 and the promo-stuff exists to reward that.
tl;dr: You just want more stuff, operations do not work like regualar games where higher difficulty = more credits, difficulties above silver are really bad as requirement for an operation. You do not deserve anything for playing a game.
