First it was "just a few games for the Galactic Readiness rating".

Then ambition to progress from "Headless Chicken in Bronze" to being able to say "I have become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds". I am about 20% along that way...

Combine that with the irresistible urge to get a complete manifest.

Throw in a few great people from all over the world to play with on a regular basis.

And suddenly you have about 600 hours of fun filled mayhem. Or mayhem-filled fun? Your pick is as good as mine.

Love it. Will probably only stop playing when ME4 / DA3 is out...

Edit: Also the first MP game I've ever played. Apart from 3 frustrating, rage-inducing minutes in BF3MP....

I hear that quite often around here. More so than for other games.

I guess BioWare found out how to get people playing multi-player.

So, on topic: I am no where near a maxed manifest or BotB. I play too much silver and can't stray from adepts for too long, so I'll probably never get there, but I wouldn't complain if I somehow did.

Have you tried to work your way up to Gold yet? I was like you once, just content to play in Silver but got bored and wanted something more challenging plus dem credits are beautiful in Gold!

More creds and more enemies to show some lovin' too.

I know some guy who only does silver, does the fact I can't stomach more than a few silver games make me a bad person?

Nope not at all, some here might look at me funny for still leveling up my low characters in bronze! I play Silver when I want to just relax!

I'm gonna be honest and say that I don't play MP anymore. It lost its luster, and its addictive quality has vanished from me.

However, when I used to play it non-stop, I guess the fact that it was Mass Effect made me keep playing. :/

Holy crap. I might not be too addicted for awhile. Just got my Dead Space 3 demo code and realized the new Borderlands 2 DLC came out today.

Silver is my where I level up (after always playing SP on insanity I found bronze insanely dull)
My promoting shoes are gathering dust these days though.
