I have been searching off anf on for a little over a year now for a list of hiden stats on armor and weapons in ME1. I know pheonix armor makes you regen an extra hitpoint every second and xplorer makes level 1 hazard environments do no damage. I believe that hammer sniper riffles knock opponents down more often but I can't say if that happens as a coincidence or I am immagining it. Is there a list somewhere?

Maybe this helps, though I guess you have seen it already if you search for that long. Usually that wiki is a great source. ME1 is so hard to figure out though, because your level plays such a big role IMO. That might just be my imagination though.

Yeah unfortunately I know there is more hidden bonuses out there but no way of figuring out. if I could find a list of them especially for weapons I could use that for planning tactics. Good example is if one weapon model of any level has slight shield penetration it may be better to use against heavy shielded targets. I am finding Geth Primes hard targets in insanity because they regen shields with shield boost once every 2 seconds.once the shield is down y9ou get maybe 3 rounds in before your against the shield again.

The only real "hidden" bonuses are the phoenix and devlon armor. None of the weapons to the best of my knowledge (and I've been following the forums since before ME1 came out on the 360) have any extra bonuses. As for dealing with geth primes, use some powers on them. Lift or singularity will keep them from activating any powers. Hit them with overload to help deal with their shields.
That said they should be hard targets, since they are the highest type of 2 legger geth, compared to immunity spamming mercs, they are cake.

The issue I am having at the moment is that I am running this through with vanguard shep with ash and tali as companions. While I can kill them the fact that they constantly close the distance and rip through even advanced barrier in less than a second and your health in less time than that tough. I found using proton 4 rounds on them more effective than tungsten 6 and even after throw, warp, lift then adrenaline burst rinse repeat they are still more than half way alive with shields and tali spamming overload overheat and dampening. Using spectre 7 weapons sniper riffle is my bonus trait.

Ok, one thing about the bigger geth is that they tend to charge and melee. Melee attacks bypass shields. Keep your throw for when they charge, since you have Tali with you invest some of her points in master hacking. It won't work on a prime or a colossus, but you can use it get the prime to focus on a target besides you. Stick Ash out in front with good heavy armor, master immunity and a couple of medical exo's, she makes an admirable tank that way and can absorb a heck of a lot of fire.
Also just in case, if the big geth are charging consider loading a shotgun with either sledgehammer or explosive rounds. Both have a pretty good chance of knocking a target down. Master marksman pistol will also work wonders in that situation.

IIRC with the Devlon armor you just have to have someone in the party wearing it and you still get the bonus against heat or cold hazards.

eventually the problem with the primes was dealt with by a bio amp upgrade that lets me endlessly juggle them. The issue was that even with colossus IX heavy and master immunity ash just died fast to primes (less than a second) as they hit us with dampening a LOT. bout once every 15 seconds. Also stuck 2 medical exos on my collossus IX light still lookin for a med variant. my shotcun is always loaded with hammer at the first oportunity and sledge when they become acailable. Makes krogan chargers and rachni cake walks.
