 Started my way to the banner today. Did three on bronze so far. its so fun. i literally hold my breath most of the time. it's a great that i get some much satifaction out of a game y'know. it was almost worth the money for the whole game just for the MP. how was your first solo missions? were they exciting or boring? i got sync-killed against phantoms (im against cerb always) or picked up by the atlas. i use krogan (adept but sometime i use sentinel or kroguard) so its easy to pick me up if im not careful. who did you use?

First solo was boring for me. Didn't even mean to do a solo.

Had an open Bronze lobby and started it up using a level ten turian Soldier with a Saber X. Ended up one-shotting most everything the whole game, and nobody joined.

I was well overpowered for my first solo (on Bronze), just did it for an op so my team couldn't screw me out of a commendation pack. I did my Gold solos with the Vorcha Soldier and it was pretty intense. I grew to love being chased around in a circle for 40 minutes.

I got my banner a few days ago after many, many tries. I used the QMI against Geth on London (needed London waves and QMI extracts at the same time) for the bronze mostly, Silver was using the TGI on Ghost against Reapers. I started my solo golds using the same set-up as I did for Silver but it was taking way too long and got smacked usually on wave 10. I finally buckled down and went with the Kroguard on Glacier against the Geth using a reager X and buffed the heck out of the Krogan. Which some will dis me for as being the easy way out...I don't see a lot of Lone Wolf banners out there so the heck with them. Its a tough one to get no matter who you are.

I will say it is exciting to solo knowing you're the only one out there with no back-up coming. I'm afraid to show my banner since I hear folks who choose to display it get bumped a lot in the PUGs

Continue your solo quest...it'll be rewarding once you earn the lone wolf banner..

I don't remember what I used for my bronze or silver solos, but for my gold solos I used my Krogan Sentinel. Took 40ish minutes and I have the video but I just haven't uploaded it anywhere.

Gold. "That's a much bigger challenge." This will probably be the hardest banner for me to get. I can solo Bronze and Silver, no problem, but Gold is proving to be difficult.

Like a lot of people, my first solo was unintentional. I think I just wanted a few thousand credits to get a Spectre Pack. So, figured I'd just muck about until wave 4, then quit. My survival instinct kicked in and I ended up going for it. I kept thinking, "Okay, any second now I'll have some squaddies.... any second now... any ol' second now.... nothing. Really?" That was using my GE on Glacier/Geth, I think.

Finished my Silver last week and tried a Gold match with my Huntress and got smoked early in the match. I think the hill on Gold will be awfully steep for me.

only done 6 or 7 gold solos, tried platinum 3 times and got impatient/stupid and got sync killed on waves 8-10. Soloing is boring and I rather play with bad teammates than no teammates.

I did my gold the easy way - kroguard geth & tgi reapers. I hate soloing though, don't have the patience I guess

I've only done solo runs for weekend challenges and for some of the "lesser weapons" which take forever if you're playing with a full team (because you cant kill much before they do).

Personally I find them a bit boring, mostly because I'd rather play with people I can chit chat with, as well as play more recklessly knowing that I've got teammates to pick me up, as well as offer themselves as targets to the enemy.

But hey, if you enjoy them more power to you... I've never seen any reason to frown on those who do enjoy doing solo runs.

Easy for me Krogard geth white, pretty much using the acolyte, incendiary ammo then light everything on fire explosions...

Same. I admire those that do it consistently with a variety of kits because it is just not a fun experience for me. I get impatient and that leads to mistakes which leads to death. 

At least with a group soloing the wave leads to a greater good for everyone, so if it is necessary because the other three folks bite it I can pull it off.

Just use a Kroguard versus geth.  Really easy and you don't have to worry about sync-kills.  For the build go for max recharge speed/shields. Use the reegar with shredder mod, spare ammo mod, and incendiary rounds.  Charge --> reegar -->repeat

I was never one for soloing but I said whatever and went ahead and tried it for the challenge completion.

Kroguard full speced for melee. No carnage. Charge multi target and shield regen. Barrier for damage protection.

Gold was easy. It was fun for a bit but I do like the coop nature of the game. Solo was a little boring. Cool for a quick change of pace though

Geth Trooper vs Reapers on Giant is my personal favorite. Went 2/3 on gold for my banner originally due to a really bad banshee sync on my part.

Kroguard I find quite boring but that's down to whatever you enjoy of course.I know lots of people find the trooper boring.

My friends seem to find soloing really dull, but personally I really enjoy it. Feels like more of a challenge and it's all on you - gets my heart pumping.

I tried the no sync kills thing and got whacked on the strength of all the cheese the geth can lay down. Didn't try the Krogard though.

 I used a Shadow on UUS and had Cerberus Ghost

It wasn't technically my first solo, though. That was on bronze, and I don't remember anything about it. It was probably a human infiltrator, maybe in April or May.

I did my golds on giant with destroyer typhoon and acolyte vs. reapers. It's funner in my opinion to solo silver just because you don't have to run away as often and well it's more work lol.

I did my first solo in March. Was using a Krogan Soldier with no equipment and no clue anymore what gun. Was a rare gun is all I know. Had it on Unknown/Unknown and got Firebase White Cerberus. No consumables used and didn't seem to take all that long. Was fun.
