My first solo was Giant/C/B with Femgineer. We had just failed silencer, so some banshees were thrown in. I only intended to stay til wave 3 was over b/c I needed a few hundred credits for a pack, but just kept going and made it to extraction. It was a real rush to know I could do something like that when I had originally been terrified to even try MP with other people, let alone by myself. Now I'm working on my silver and gold solos and hope to get Lone Wolf someday.

My first solo was accidental. Set to UUB and started as a vorcha sentinel. No one joined till I extracted. Went against reapers on giant.

 I was confidently on my way to my first gold solo in wave 9, plenty of consumables remaining, including 4 rockets incase it was targets in W10...when one of my friends hopped in.  Doh!

I did my 10 Bronze okay, managed 5 Silvers with some excessive consumables but Solo Gold's got my number. I've got as far as level 8, but that's it. I'm reading the forums here looking for a build that will suit my style of play and get me the banner.

Also, the (cup)cake is a lie. Probably.

Ya know, its been long enough.. maybe I'll run that setup again w/ a reegar for kicks on a gold solo. Cheese is good- in moderation. Plus, what adept can put up one of the most powerful BEs and headbutt you afterwards? KSA wins at life, imo.

My first solo was a bronze back during the demo. I did it with a quarian engineer vs. cerberus. My first gold solo was a kroguard/geth cheese back in May or June or something. My favorite gold solo I've done (successfully) was the last one I did for the challenge a month or two ago; Asari Valkyrie kamikaze vs. reapers.

I hate soloing but asari huntress/reapers is an alternative to kroguard geth if you're strugglng for gold.

Now could I possibly get a hypothetical meringue?

My first solo was probably a human soldier or krogan sentinal. Used to always solo bronze for my first few levels with any kit capable of carrying grenades. Throw the first point into grenades and spend half an hour running between ammo dumps.

As to the banner -- didn't see a point to making it more of a challenge than it needed to be. Any map works, but definitely Geth, as no one can assassinate you. Level 20 Kroguard specced for survivability, eviscerator (best damage on a shotgun in my inventory at the time which allowed me 200% recharge bonus) paired with an acolyte using ULM, Shield boosting gear and armor bonus, shotgun rail amp, and incindiary ammo. Pop them with a shotgun blast or two to light them on fire, charge for the fire explosion. Rinse, repeat. Switch to Acolyte to bring down shields on Primes.

First ever? I soloed bronze and silver with novaguard months and months ago. Pre-Resurgence, probably. Fairly easy, but also boring. Never really had any urge to solo gold till they released the challenges and I decided I wanted to work through them.

Did my first gold solo just the other day, after a few practice attempts and experiments. Huntress, CSR, Giant/Reapers.

I've been soloing Bronze regularly for months, generally by accident when I'm testing experimental builds and such. It's quite a bit of fun if you play with your favorite map/faction settings.

First bronze solo was Human soldier with concussive shot and frag grenades sporting an Avenger and running in circles. Blew everything away with concussive shot. That was fun but not as stimulating as my first silver solo

This was way back in the day when you were totally badass if you could solo Bronze. As a huge Vanguard fanatic, I picked up my Novaguard and decided to fight the Geth on Firebase Glacier. Lots of over the top screaming ensued. No stunlock, though. That patch didn't happen yet.

Objective waves got pretty hard, though. The guy is pretty frail. But I got my first victory in soloing that day. I felt so good.

Putz around on Bronze all the time, think my first successful completion was N7 Shadow on FBJade w/ Cerberus. Shadow Strike ALL THE THINGS (then run like hell)

I had to trust the old faithful Krogan Vanguard. Piranha X, incendiary III, shotgun amp III, cyclonic modulator III and the shield/shield recharge gear. Cleared all 10 games (7 bronze, 3 silver, 2 gold) against geth on FB White in two days or so. Got lucky with the mission waves on both gold matches (escort and objects close to extraction on Wave 10), but a win's a win. Really, really fun--I haven't taken my LW title off yet.

I think I've completed the bronze and silver ones, but don't see myself trying Gold just yet.

My first solo was a bronze when I started playing MP in June, before I knew about BSN. I thought I was pretty badass at the time because I thought it was a feat not a lot would've been able to accomplish. Imagine my surprise when I discovered people had actually soloed gold.

Don't really remember my first bronze or silver solos, but my first gold was Ghost/Cerberus with the salarian infiltrator and a claymore IV back in may.

I don't recall my bronze/silver solos, I'm afraid. I do remember my first gold, though. It was TGI with Harrier against Reapers. Took ridiculusly long (around 50 minutes) because of Banshee kiting. The feeling was glorious, adrenaline rush significant. I soloed with him a few times against reapers but then I switched to geth. It became my bread and butter which is part of why I have geth mastery completed 7 times and solo mastery 10 times.

But that was long time ago. The Lone Wolf Banner I started wearing when I soloed platinum with Destroyer (Cerberus). And the feeling was comparable

I don't remember what I used for my first solo which was a bronze one. I don't like to solo because it feels lonely.

For the challenges I chose MQE vs Geth and Kroguard vs Reapers. I chose something easy, so it wouldn't take long and be relatively safe (to avoid repeating the attempt) but not too easy so at least it would feel like a sort of accomplishment.

I now solo only a few waves to rack up challenge points for slow killing guns and normally suicide after wave 6 because I'm too bored to carry on.

Edit: My first Gold was Kroguard vs Geth and I'm not ashamed.
