Getting from basically zero english...

The video posted is a long way from basically zero English. It shows a lot of aptitude in fact.

tivesz wrote...
...to fluent american english in little more than a year is...okay let's say possible.

Yes, let's admit that... that is all my posts are about. That it is possible, nothing more. Now oyu have no more argument with me.

tivesz wrote...
But picking up typical american slangs that not even some US born americans familiar with is...little bit harder to believe.

You've not read my posts have you? Slang is the easiest thing to pick up if you live in the country in question and seeing as she lives in NYC apparently, it is what she will pick up and improve on first. It is incredibly easy to sound like a native speaker by speaking only slang phrases because you learn them as a phrase, with the correct intonation and basically, speak them as one 'thing'. It doesn't count as seperate words making a meaning, it is one phrase one meaning said one way.

How someone living thousands of miles away from that place is supposed to pick up that slang is beyond me without the aid of .. oh yes, internet , tv etc.... no?  If other Americans can't do it , it is normal, it's a big country and not everyone is linguistically gifted like she would have to be.

tivesz wrote...
Plus she's 30 years old, it's much harder to master a language as you get older, as you should know as a teacher.

Very true. However all she would need is some influence at an early age to stop her forgetting those phonemes. For example, subtitled (rather than dubbed) movies have an enormous influence, but yes, for this I't'd be more believeable to hear about an English speaking relative or something but none of that says it is not possible. It just says 'unlikely'.

2 medigel platinum duo also says unlikely.

Just saying :P

Have fun :)

P.s. For the record as if I haven;t stated it enough, my argument is about the possibility of learning language. Not whether she is who she says she is. I hope she is but I really don't care.

But the Phoenix Adept sucks and shouldn't be used in Platinum! THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!!!

*headsplosion*

What was your build, anyway? 5 in the passive, 3 in lash?

I love the Phoenix Adept. I have been rocking him on Platinum since day 1.

My preferred build is a 6/6/6/5/3 build

Singularity: 4/Duration 5/Lift Damage 6/ Damage
Smash: 4/Electric Combo 5/Force and Damage 6/ Armor Damage
Lash: 4/ Damage 5/Damage over time 6/Shield Penetration
Phoenix Training: 4/ Damage and Capacity 5/ Power Damage
Fitness: last three points

I dislike shield penetration on him, but I stick to Gold, so without it, I can stagger any boss and make them not kill teammates.

I know that isn't what you used in the vid, though. You mentioned several times that you had full fitness and a Cyclonic IV. Or did I mishear?

Correct. I posted my "preferred" build here but I had respecced in the game and took out all the passives to be tankier as we had to compensate so that i could stay alive longer in case I had to solo since she had only two gel capacity.

This is clearly fake as many others have pointed out (no need to repeat what has been said).
This discussion should have ended long ago and it only took place because the ones who took what the OP said as granted (mostly those who have some sort of positive relationship with him) want to defend his "honor", his discernment ability or even the fact that they can't accept that they were naive by taking such bait. This led to some name calling (explained by the lack of counter arguments) and, afterwards, they tried to convince themselves and the others that this model thing wasn't relevant to the thread.
So, to all of those who say that the model part was irrelevant, you are totally wrong as the OP makes it a huge deal in the first post: she's mentioned several times; it includes her facebook page and a banner of her (which I can only assume the OP had to make it and therefore some effort has been invested in it); this thread's title has the name of this person and, last but not least, the OP plans to meet with said person in the near future.

You're probably right about this being fake, but rather than just point out that the OP and his friends made a mistake and move on, you had to drag their faces through the mud with some totally unneccesary theory about "defending honor" and "naivete".  I'd ask you to grow up and contribute to the discussion, but this is BSN, so I won't waste my time on a foregone conclusion.

You can meet some interesting people through the internet. Strange things indeed.

I mean even I've had some odd meet ups with folks I met over the ether.

I mean they were craigslist "trades" but come on....
