Yes it would.
If people didn't speak about the bad features in a game, the developers would not improve them for future installments. Bioware sped combat up in DA2 because people found the combat of Origins too slow, regrettably they made it too fast for DA2 (at least I think it was) however but that's just one instance for my point.
I'm sure most people here still have faith in Bioware to create a good game otherwise they wouldn't be using the DA3 forum. The completely negative people can be justified when you consider that both DA2 and ME3 are considered worst than their predecessors. These people hear Bioware going on about "artistic integrity" and "appealing to the masses" and think DA3 will be developed to appeal to casual RPG fans and contain the flaws of both DA2 and ME3.

Dragon age Origins was one of the best games I have played, the long main story line accompanied by exciting side quests was a work of art, the graphics and combat were amazing also. Though Dragon Age 2 was regretably not as good as Dragon Age Origins, I still think it was a good game, so much so I played through the story numerous times,
so when people give negative feedback how do you think that will help the next game. It wont

I hope that by the time my one-year-old son is old enough to play a BioWare game, that games like Jade Empire, KOTOR, Jade Empire, the Mass Effect Trilogy, and the Dragon Age series won't seem too dated, old-school or corny for him to enjoy in light of whatever games look and play like in 14-15 years. Like the good books I've read that I hope to pass on to him or the classic movies I really think he should see, over the years to come, I feel that BioWare's RPGs are worthy of being counted among my favorite literature and films.

My Faith is already lowered by one of the first Anouncements. DA3 cant be as good as DA:O Already. It still could be an cool game but for me its already not as good as it could be.
Which announcement is that? Is it really that disinheartening? We don't really have a whole helluva of a lot of info to go on at this time...

Never lost it in Bioware, EA on the other hand....
I guess I can count myself fortunate to have never had faith in EA to begin with. They're a conglomerate that buys up smaller game companies in order to maximize their profits. They are entirely about the bottom line.
Sure BioWare has people who handle the business end of their operations. They're work is necessary in order to keep things going and make sure the budget is distributed to the right places, for starters. However among the concept artists, and writers, and animators, and programmers, and composers who work on BioWare games are its artistic heart and soul. It is in them that my faith remains strong.
Keep up the good work folks!

True. I know its not a big deal for many peoples. But for me it is.
I really can see that Bioware seems to care what the fans think and they will change some stuff. As it seems they know that DA2 made alot wrong and they say they will work on that Critics. But so far it seems they work on Critics i dotn care and ignore Critic is important for me
I would play the same level 100 times if i would get an Elf or Dwarf option for that
PS: I dont want to start a Race discussion here. Just want to make my point about faith in Bioware in DA3
PSS: Its hard to have faith in a developer made Games as Bioware did the last times. Ive played every single Bioware game and loved them all. But the last releases.. i dont know. ME3 was still a master piece if you ignore the last 10 minutes of the game. SWTOR was.. well not a bad game but a bad MMO.
But DA2.. well DA:O to DA2 was to me like Baldurs Gate2 to Diablo2. I think that will make my point here.
I would say it can only get better but im kinda afraid it could not...

That's the best we can hope for I'm afraid.
I'm sure BW is doing their best to make DA:I closer to what DA:O did but they're pulling on one side of the rope and EA is pulling on the other side screaming no DA:O was a success it's time to cash in on the franchise as much as we can RELEASE, RELEASE, PROFITS, PROFITS NOW!.
Sadly BW isn't ever going to win this one, EA is just a "too big to fail" corporation.

This is just a wild assumption but would BioWare still be here if they didn't partner up with EA?
