I have played public matches with people who deliberately use their rockets to get killstreaks on early waves (they're on mic so I can confirm their intention). Is there some purpose/reward for doing this? I dont really mind others doing this but when they run out of rockets on objective waves it makes me wonder what is going on.

They don't get there won't be a gunship at an 11 killstreak.

There's no time for aerial bombardment.

Lol getting sync killed early in wave 9 kinda defeats that purpose.

I don't see the connection between nuke spawns and getting sync-killed. Not Cobras are your only option to save someone being picked up by a Banshee or a Praetorian, y'know. And if a Phantom wants to stab you, she will, ain't nothing you can do about that. (Unless if you have good timing and OPS pack to save yourself).

I don't get it myself. I also have the feeling some people use rockets to spawn nuke on wave 11 (and get killstreaks in the process) simply to get ahead on the scoreboard. These people usually stay on the first or second place when wave 10 is over and there is little score difference the the player below him.

I couldn't care less. I will not squander my rockets because of some stupid score in a co-op game. Or maybe they are after the points challenge, who knows. Let them be the top scorer, I'll take my creds and move along.

Well kill streak is just as simple as 1 point whoring, either way look at it from this view, its not you using a your equipment. 2 medals earned. 3, more exp tho not to much more. 4 just satisfying at times to get a good drop on some of those cheap units. early waves or not I will use a missile especially if I am a lower level, since the little extra exp is nice to help me level up. Could really care less bout the score. Its about the fact we passed the mission

Well, making steaks is easy if the prey isn't alive anymore.

You can be surrounded by 2 banshees?  I thought there were 4 directions.
