Sheesh Rueben, and you say in the first post you're not great at fanart. Faugh I say, Faugh! I'm always eagerly awaiting your updates. The most recent one with Sandal is fantastic. Poor kid, but he sure made my sword badass. I think he is a God.

Anyways, just a minor update, I was thinking of doing a small comic, nothing major just something to vent out some stories and stuff, and also to practice my shading and inking Here is the first frame, I hope you guys like it!

Oh, and a general question to the public. This comic will take place 5 years down the road from DA:O, and I was wondering about some characterization for Leliana, as she will star in this comic at some point.
Say that Sigurd has romanced Morrigan all the way, but somehow managed to be friendly enough to Leliana that she gets the wrong message. Now she knows Morrigan has left, and she knows he's not going to look for her (even though she has her suspicions that he might still be), and she still has that lingering ember in her heart smouldering, wanting to burst into flames when he stands so close to her, this tall, dark brooding man that grew from a noble young scion into this wild, barbaric, creature of combat.
Will she keep her feelings down, and keep poor ol' Sigurd friendzone'd, or will she fan those hot coals into a roaring flame? I'm not too sure how she'd react with him after so long. Sigurd would've killed Marjolaine and NOT hardened Leliana, asking her to keep her peaceful ways.

I think Leliana would still feel for him and be torn about expressing her feelings. She'd probably have moments where she'd show this side of her then suddenly revert because she's unsure. It would have to be him that really makes the move. She's been burned once already.

Hmm... I have up until the point where he's close enough to kiss her. The question is whether or not she will initiate it or turn away, because he simply won't make the first move. She more or less is the one that got into the situation, so it's not him actively pursuing it.

Uh, given the fact that somehow, despite dumping her, and having her dump Emma Cousland, AND Emma's impending nuptials to Alistair, she still demanded to know why I didn't tell her about my feelings for Alistair last night in Redcliffe before we headed out to Denerim?



I think she's perfectly capable of carrying that torch and carrying it out for the world to see. And she'd make the first move, since she's done so on every single one of my hetero girls.

i think she'd try to make him long for her the way she does for him but, correct me if I'm wrong, if he still cares for Morrigan then she will have to try and deal with the fact that he may not love her and reject her, which in turn would break her heart

I love the action in the new picture. Please tell me that's him killing the Archdemon.

For your question, I guess it depends on how you want to go. Do you want to have things pick up where they left off or her try to push him away while realizing that she really does love him.

I always love pushing men away.

Sialater - Hehe, romance bugs ftw! So you think she would try to seduce if she could? I'm still debating on letting this simmer for a while more but let her still pine after him for a while. He's a bit dense that way
Marcus - She could, I guess, but he's more or less buried his love for Morrigan. He understands that when she said that he will never see her again he knows she meant it, and he has no illusions about any joyful reunions, though he does still try to follow up rumors when he can, but that it not the main story arc for this comic. I guess Leliana might be able to see that, and I guess he's willing to open up for her but it'll probably be pretty hard to crack that layer he's built around himself.
Kerridan - Damn, missed oppurtunity Would be a prety badass followup to the final blow, wouldn't it? But alas, this is post Archdemon, so he's just chopping an ogre in half Story-wise, he's more or less an empty shell right now. He's not going to pursue a relationship with Leliana, but he isn't going to stop her if she really wants to either, it's really up to Leliana to push forward, and while I'm totally willing to put as many close-encounters as possible to spice up their lives, I'm not entirely sure if character-wise Leliana WILL push for it.
