So after a U/U/G search I landed in a lobby with... well, let's just say they were all below N7 100. Loadouts were about as expected for their N7 rating, so it wasn't just people not promoting. They had consumables on, so sure, why not, I can carry Reapers Gold...
Match started, three of them ran towards the containers... they seemd to stick together... eventually I found them in the box at the far end, the one with the ammo in it. I think I killed everything before anything could made it back into the container area for the first coulple of waves. The other three started to come out to play a bit, but would run back there whenever there were banshees about.
Is this the new FBWGG or something? This is the first time I've seen a group of players run into the boxes, so I guess I wouldn't call it a trend, but I know I've heard of/seen video of people doing the box of shame for Platinum, just not for Gold. Anyway, only one of them didn't make it to extraction after getting downed at the last second.
tl;dr - Is Rio/Reapers/Gold the new FBWGG or something?

Seriously, I thought it was just a Platinum, thing. I was just surprised to see those three in a gold lobby, and didn't really think about it until they started off towards the containers. Then I was like... wait, they're going to hide in the box? But I was already in.

In Rio it's usually better (safer) to choose a side than camp the middle. But camping a box? No.
