Hello everyone.

Currently, I am having trouble romancing Morrigan as of yet in Dragon Age. I have already gotten her her golden mirror, Black Grimorie, killed Flemeth, and gotten her THAT Grimorie. My relationship is at 100, but only at warm. I'm also a ways into the game, already gaining support of the Magi, Dalish, and Dwarves, and she has always been in my party. 

I've researched this issue before, and for some people it works, and for some they have the same issue as I. Will I ever move beyond Warm?

I'm chums with everybody in the group, Leliana included (however she is only Warm). Could this be a contributing factor?

Edit: For dialogue choices, I never try to ****** her off. I haven't been sarcastic or witty with her, and in most situations I try to pick the one she'd like the best. I did decline to not aid the mages in the Magi questline and I didn't use the Anvil of the Void (she was really adamant about that).

Have you tried talking to her repeatedly? Sometimes new dialog options open up. You explore all dialog options? She's just straight, is your character male?

Alas, you've missed your chances. You can get her interested early on with the "tied to a flagpole and tickled" response when she asks your opinion of shapechangers. Or by asking for a kiss when you give her either of the grimoires. Or by saying the mirror is a gift for a beautiful woman. There should also have been a conversation she initiates when her approval gets high enough. It starts with " 'Tis a curious thing " and she asks if the two of you could be more than just friends.

Or are you playing a female pc? Morrigan doesn't lean that way, unless you get a mod.

In the words of the father of an immature girl who should have never used the internet in the first place, I've done goofed.

I have an alternate character, Revan, who just got to Lothering, and just got a kiss from Morrigan. Even before reading both of your posts, I tried using the whole "tickled" and "you can probe me anytime" lines, and got her interested in me.

At first, I didn't think Morrigan was someone who'd go for those. I thought she'd get offended, and I'd lose relationship points. Alas....

And I didn't ask for a kiss with the first and second grimoires, like I should have. When I told her I killed Flemeth, I said "You know you can count on me", thinking that would be a relationship grabber, but to no avail.

Is there anyway to remedy this situation?

The only way would be to go back to a save from before the last opportunity.

Ah, the only major Morrigan save I could go back to was before I killed Flemeth. I did it, once again (Wynne is truly a helpful party member), yet to no avail. I tried all four options, and none of them did anything. Still at 100 and Warm.

Alas, at least on my alternate character I could romance her. I just hope it's not too late for Leliana on Daeron as well. She is also 100 (warm).

I hope I'm not friend-zoned by both females...

Sorry, I should have been clearer. It is not in the conversation where you give Morrigan the grimoire. Rather, the next time you talk to her she will initiate the "Tis a curious thing" conversation if her approval is high enough. That's your opportunity.

It is similar with Leliana but a bit more complicated. After completing her personal quest you can ask how she feels about it. When her approval is high enough, she will later ask "Do you remember our conversation?" And after that you can ask if she is feeling better about what happened. Say "Marjolaine was special to you, wasn't she?"

I'll keep that in mind.

I seem to have spent all of my dialogue options w/ Morrigan for the time being, as only provides me with the shapeshifter question (to which she now always declines) and the "Why are you here?" option.

However I do not remember the "Tis a curious thing" conversation, so hope may still be here. Her approval is at 100.. so I await results.

If it hasn't triggered at approval +100 then I expect you are out of luck.  If you are playing on a pc, I highly recommend this mod.

Oh well. Poor Daeron... friend-zoned eternally.

As for the mod, I appreciate you sharing that, but I already have it. I haven't played without it, so I am unaware as to what it adds, however my gaming experience has been fun with Morrigan, so it must have done something.
