It's a sign of the growing community, and the simple fact of the matter is to everyone complaining about new people on gold. YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH THEM, if you don't ever actually let any rookies play, how will they ever gain experince, and actually be able to compentenly play that level (actually some rookies are quite good, not that a majority o the people here would give them the chance to find out.) that you keep on complaining they don't have enough expeirnce to be in???
Honestly, if anything we should all be trying our best to help them, teach them how to reload cancel, share builds whatever! in the end your'e just making the community you play in all the better. We were all rookies once.
And also, any rookies (yes I know not many visit BSN, but theres an off chance) who are trying to transtion to gold, or want some gameplay tips, shoot me a msg (PS3) and I'll see if I can help.

I ran into two new players in gold pugs around Christmas. They are great players, even when they only have harrier ones and black widow 2, but with a little help, we helped them get into platinum - yeah, they love the platinum credits.

They are not all bad(?<_<). They just need a chance to improve. To improve the game must be played. Some lessons they will learn the hard way. That's okay. I agree to a certain extent with Phoenix535. I want to see this community grow. But, it is true I get frustrated whenI have to put myself on the line everytime to revive some one charging into a banshee...heck, forget what I just said..I`ll let that banshee have a snack.
I felt that this topic will be of encouragement to new players. Thanks P51Mus7ang.

I agree. I posted a thread like this about 8 months ago, and there does seem to be a new set of players picking up the game. P51Mus7ang started a group, Difficulty Changers, to match experienced players who want to help with folk wanting to move up a level.

The expression they have when they beat their first gold/plat never gets old:D besides, with new people comes new styles. and with people who've never played the game a new perspective, I've actually picked up one or two unexpected tips from a new guy who was doing a style I'd never seen anyone do before, and doing it well for someone who was new.

Any direct link to the group, so I don't have to sift through 50000 pages. Or is it dead?

Would you want someone who is N7 rated 12 bringing a lvl 12 soldier equipped with Avenger V and Predator V into Gold or Platinum?

Yes. I would like that, and it does happen on occasion! I've mentioned before that I like to follow them around, kill what they miss, and revive them the whole match. Kinda like a Drivers Ed instructor... except I kill things. Lets them get a feel for the higher levels of the game. Last time, I ended up playing 5 Plats in a row trying to get them some credits to build up their manifests. 2 noobs, myself, and a friend. They were a couple of nice kids too. Asked waaaaay too many questions though. Made my head hurt.
Tl:dr= Just play a game or two with the noobs, answer some questions, and get them some credits so they have better toys.

I have seen this myself but sometimes new players arent aware that they have been placed in a plat lobby and sometimes they are just checking it out to see what its like.
I will play with them and if we fail we fail...its just a game and no one really gets hurt in the end.
Also recently I played a game with 3xrandoms who where clearly new to the game and we nailed the collectors in a vancouver gold so not all new players are rubbish....these guys where better than I was when I was a noob.
