Yeah I'm pretty sure that Alistair is in his early 20's (if not 20). And really acting mature can have nothing to do with age. I knew someone in their lat 30's who was completely immature *rolls eyes*.

As to curvy and short. Woot for everyone being able to get a piece of the bastard prince. Everyone deserves to be told they're a rare and beautiful thing.

'I found this tiny jade buddah statue back in Lothering. It was just lying there, a thing of beauty (nevermind it's displacement of space/time) amidst all the pain and suffering. I couldn't just leave it there because it reminded me so much of you.

Alistair is early 20's (20-23) I think it was confirmed somewhere. Because he was originally slated to be 30ish years old, but that would have given him to much experience and not allow the PC to run show, the PC would be following Alistair. So they dropped his age down to early 20's (same as PC) and made him a newish recruit.

Alistair states in a random conversation with Morrigan that he would prefer to follow. He also has a convo with the Warden about gossiping about the rest of your followers and you can offer to let HIM lead, but he still refuses. I don't think age really has anything to do with that. I think the PC's age doesn't really matter much, but I like to think mine is around mid-late 20s.

Do you have a source for his confirmed age? I know the Toolset states his age as 32, but Gaider said something like... that's just for the VAs to follow. I like to think that you have to be in the mid-late 20s to take your Chantry oaths, since most of the Chantry (that you meet at least), look a lot older.

It is confirmed in game he has only been a Grey Warden for 6 months. Just throwing that out there

Truth be told, I'd rather be helping Oghren forget all about Branka, but it's understandable considering the sheer amount of time/planning that was probably involved in writing four optional romances, to say nothing of adding a dwarf one. I'm hoping the romances are a big enough success that BioWare would consider adding more down the road.

The romance/kissing scenes are not as awkward as it would seem. The dwarf does get adjusted like she's standing on an invisible stool and she's basically face to face with Alistair in the tent scene. I honestly don't really notice the height difference for the vast majority of the game because the camera angles has your character up front while everyone's off in the distance behind you. Sometimes the camera zeroes in on you and everyone besides you is missing from the chest up, but you'll be too busy admiring your dwarven awesomeness to care.

If you haven't played a dwarf origin, consider giving it a try. It'll put some hair on yer chest. Arrrr!

For some reason, her character profile was never updated online.

You can see on this picture that the arms are too long. The finger tops are reaching to the knees. The other day I played the Dwarf commoner origing story, at some point you see Beraht standing besides Rica, Rica's arms are longer.

My main objection towards the dwarven females is the fact that their legs are too skinny. This is the case with all female characters, but with female dwarves it is really showing. Just as with Morrigan, sometimes I look at here lower legs beneath here robe and I think, Oh God, that is nothing.

Now another thing, is there anybody that thinks that Shale looks like a woman?

IT was pretty much from Gaider (not explicitly stated but implyed). They said they originally planned Alistair for 30-32 years old, but it wouldn't work in the game (that's why the toolset says that age, was never updated). So they made him younger and more inexperienced. I think he says he was at the chantry for about 10 years? And I always envisioned him being shipped there when he was 10-12 years old. So it could fit.

I think you may be confusing women with men in this.

Ah, I see. I think we read the same post from Gaider. He didn't state an age, but did seem scared by the posts staing Alistair was 32 lol. But you stated you had a source that said he was a specific age, which is why I asked...

Alistair did state that he was sent there when he was 10, in the conversation in Redcliffe. I've never heard him put an age on the Chantry. I think your source on this is just speculation :wizard: But I sort of do like how none of the companions have a set age stated. It allows us a lot of  creative freedom, especially if we're RPing, and I love that <3

It's hard to predict Allistair's age. However, King Cailan's Age is confirmed as being 29 years old according to the Chantry Calendar timeline.

King Cailan knew about Alistair being his half brother and the two met while they were children.

If they met while they were children it means that Cailan probably isn't that much older than Alistair. Likely just a few years.

So I think Alistair is probably around 26.

Definitely told him just to shut up and I'd show him everything he needed to know. :-D I think I'm going to let him make all the moves on my current play through. I've heard it's cute.

It is definitely adorable! I just ran that last night. Very sweet.

And short, curvy woman rule! Not that I am one or anything...Posted Image

I sorta wished as a male PC you could help get Alistair laid, as that would be a classic buddy-comedy moment. Taking him to the pearl doesn't do anything. I ended up marrying him off to Anora, which was the best I could do.

Though as others have pointed out, Anora was married to Caelin for several years without producing an heir. Clearly, Anora is not for beginners.

My fingertips end just a few inches above my knees...

I'm pretty sure all the models are the same, so I'm a little confused as to how her arms would be longer.
