Stay out of MP forums, they're mostly just full of whining and nerf/buff wars. The only threads worth it are the off-topic ones... so basically just check your feed to see where Crimson and her band of misfits posts in :)

But if you are going to brave the MP forums, for more than just lolz I mean... just grow a thick skin and don't let the abusive morons get to you. Unless you're posting a solo platinum with a Katana-wielding level 1 Volus, everyone's just going to b*tch on you and brag how they could do what you did in their sleep :P
And never post a build unless you're willing to defend it against waves of "you're doing it wrong, this is the only way to play" replies :)

Hm... that's about it for now I think. Oh, just one more thing... stay out of ME3 Story & Campaign section as well, unless you're just doing it for the trolling, that place has no redeeming qualities any more.

Since it's relatively early in the thread and I'm still here, it's a good idea to throw in a few more nuggets: Avoiding Quote Pyramids is advisable. I typically copy and paste what they had to say and add the Quote URL instead. Removing the extra spaces: [ quote ][ /quote ]

The abridged answer is the more chaotic and overwhelming a topic becomes(Giant-sized images, overdone pyramid quoting, etc.), the harder it's going to hurt the topic, and may eventually necessitate a lock if it becomes out of control. It's probably a good idea to not get it locked.

I prefer a light mood, but keep in mind that the forums aren't really a chatroom. A little silliness is fine, but I'd suggest getting back to the topic at hand:
