To be honest I really wouldn't want the romance to be a main focus. It would be nice if its just kept to subtext or hinted at but I don't need it to become a main focus or even be explicitly stated. 

Lara has a "loner" aspect to her I find admirable.

I think it's okay to assume gay is being used as a blanket term for non-heterosexual in this context.

If the VGChartz are to be taken for granted, the game has sold about 0.5 million on both consoles, more or less.

I wouldn't object, but it would feel weird to me. Mostly because Drake is already an esteblished character. 

However, I do noticed alot of sexual tension between him and Harry Flynn or maybe even Lazarevic.

I meant if he was written from the beginning that way. You know, since he doesn't need a reboot.

Think about it.

The average video game protagonist is a heterosexual male.

Then you have games with females, which are again mostly heterosexual.

Some females in games are bisexual, same with males.

But how many males are just flat out homosexual? I mean established male characters, not create-your-own like The Warden in DAO.

I'm talking Drake, Link, Solid Snake, Adam Jensen, etc etc

I can't think of a single one.

You can ask same question about flat-out homosexual females. I can think only of Sam from ME3 and Fiona and Mickey pair from TLJ. Males: Cortez from ME3, the policeman from Deadly Promotion. Hardly well-established characters, though. Both never among protagonists.

By the way, I went for TR. I didn't know it had a female screenwriter; that fact moved weight.

Yeah, I'm talking specifically about the stars of these games, the main characters.

I don't believe there's a homosexual lead to any game yet, male OR female. If there is, I'm not aware of one. Girls or guys, they're either heterosexual or bisexual.
