There were hints during the ending scenes as to where the next game could go. I don't have the link right now but someone analyzed the diary she is holding during the last scene and the words "Crotoan" were etched on it in big letters, so we may be going to Murica next. Apart from that.. Atlantis I do hope, or anything to do with Egypt/Babylon/Persia/Greece cause I'm a sucker for anything in ancient Mediterranean/middle east. And I hope they include more/difficult puzzles in the next game; it was one of the few things I found disappointing in this game
Atlantis could be great if done right. I'm not sure that it could top the amazing Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, but I'd love to see someone else trying to do it right.
Of course I'm fine with wathever ancient secret/civilization they want to throw at us. The only thing that I wish for is for the next game to focus more on the actual mistery/discovery and the puzzles instead of drama and personal feelings.

I think it will need to. Lara's journey from zero to super-duper-bad-ass is practically over. There would need to be a new element to attract gamers other than a personal joruney of self-discovery.

This was Lara's origin story, so it made sense to focus more on the personal journey. It wouldn't make sense to do that everytime. So I think in the next game we'll be back to a more traditional TR story.

Yep, I agree that it made sense and I really liked the new Tomb Raider. It's just that I like mysteries and puzzles a lot

Basically its expected that we're going to be looking into to the company known as Trinity who were investigating Himiko's powers. (You find out about them through collecting all the gps caches) Also FYI the journal at the end was Mathias's
And yeah I don't want to see a return to atlantis really. Unless its done completely different then the first tomb raider. I'm over it. I would much rather see what they're going to do with the whole Croatoan/lost colony thing.

That would be great. :3 I prefer unfolding a wider story than role-playing a big surprise over same thing in different cover each sequel.Lenimph wrote...

is the game really nice?
It's awesome. My only complaint is I think the multiplayer sucks, which is really only relevant to SP players if you plan on platting the game.

TBH i wouldn't be surprised if Trinity is a front for Natla's main corporation.Lenimph wrote...
The hints at the end of the game have been heavily discussed on the Eidos forum to the point where the community manager budded in and said she wished she could have said something .

Why in the hell did they even bother with MP...
To attract kids and boost sales. In my circle of online acquaintances I have met many people who only buy a game if it has multiplayer. Otherwise they just pirate it. As stupid as this mindset is, I'm sure they are not the only ones who think like this.

And yes, it sucks about not getting any SP dlc, I would have bought that for sure, as it stands I wont spend another dollar on Tomb Raider content because I was just never interested in a Multiplayer.

Way to make us speculate! : )
What did you enjoy the most?
For me, it was the new Lara Croft, she felt much more real.

It's a very, very pretty game too, which doesn't hurt. And I only played at default settings.
I know some may not have liked it, but I also appreciated how generous the game was for things like jumping onto balance, or grabbing ledges. It meant Lara could defy gravity, but it also meant I wasn't fighting the controls in any sort of "oops, you weren't quite running straight enough into that ledge as you jumped into it, so you die. I can understand some may not have found this as appealing, but eh.
The head nod to classic Lara at the end also lead to huge grins on my face.
RPG mechanics almost always make me like a game more (i.e. NOLF 2, or heck even Gran Turismo), even if I did have to laugh at Lara putting MacGyver to shame hehe.
