Sony should be ashamed.
Why? The first game was multiplatformed. Microsoft should be ashamed for getting full exclusivity on a sequel. They're the one to blame.
Sorry to say but you make no sense.

What about PC?

No one can be blamed. We don't know why the game is an X1 exclusive.
Perhaps Microsoft helped fund the game's development while Sony wouldn't(this happened with Titanfall), or MS offered something the game needed that Sony wouldn't(this happened with Sunset Overdrive)?
Perhaps Microsoft paid them such a large amount of money that they could afford to make it an X1 exclusive(we know this has happened before)?
Who knows. But try to not point fingers until the facts are known. For now, we just know it'll be making it onto the Xbox One.
I feel lucky. I have an Xbox One, so I'll still get to play it. Phew.
What about PC?
The official line is "Xbone exclusive for holiday 2015". I'm getting the sense that Square and Crystal initially were saying "Xbone only" and - possibly due to the immediate backlash tsunami - are obfuscating by using words that imply a graduated release on other platforms. But for now, all we know is Xbone "yes", PC and PS4 "not yet if at all".
Yep. For now all we know is it WILL be making it on Xbox One.
PC and PS4 still up in the air. If its a MS exclusive, PC is more likely, PS4 not so for obvious reasons.
What about PC?

"This doesn’t mean that we’re walking away from our fans who only play on PlayStation or on PC. Those are great systems, with great partners, and amazing communities. We have Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris coming to those platforms this December, and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition is available on PS4".

Almost exactly the same as they did with Vesperia and as result -- The superior PS3 version with all the goodie story content never went west-side. You dun goofed MicroDollars.
I also gotta love this logic of Square -- The first game could not meet our unreasonable expectations but surely if we frame the scale down even further it'll raise the budget higher, roooight?!
Their generosity knows no bounds.
And any chance shell out any money for this game has gone from good to none.
This game is going to be amazing! Can't wait.
I certainly hope so. If it follows on the first game and expands on the awesome it had, it can only get better. Much better.

*insert insane Joker laugh here*
Well that's disappointing. Microsoft must have shelled out some serious cash to steal Tomb Raider from both PC and PS4, considering how many more Playstation copies were sold of both the original and the Definitive Edition.
Edit: Post from Shinobi602, a reliable NeoGAF poster:
"Person that told me about many MS 'things' previously is telling me it's indeed a timed exclusive."
Take that fwiw. If it's just timed then this makes a bit more sense.
But why TB? Couldn't they have bought another multiplatform game? My guess is that MS will pay the promo for Square Enix.
Ugh, I'm still hoping it will make it to PC.
I have no intention to buy a "next gen" console.

^ Me all morning after reading the news at work.
Honestly I probably would have shelled out for a PS4 if it was exclusive to that console... but Xbox One... are they serious... .
Man I'm going to be pissed all damn day...
This simply means they won't get my money on day 1. After all, if I they want me to wait for a few months until the "timed exclusivity" expires, I can easily wait a few mroe until it goes on sale on Steam. This is a poor strategy on the part of SE, particularly in today's gaming market where gamers move from one game to the next a few weeks after launch. I would think that a near-simultaneous launch across multiple platforms would be a better strategy to maximize sells.
Here's a petition if anyone want's to sign it

Timed exclusivity is not confirmed and honestly after that response from the TR peeps I am not expecting it.
