Ariane and Finn for Dragon Age 3!

With the circle having officially dissolved/separated anyway, Finn would be on his own, and I'm sure Ariane could show up somehow too, so you can fit them in quite nicely to the existing situation of the world.
Finally, they don't have very deep backstories yet, so for newer players they can be reintroduced and expanded upon nicely.

Ariane is one of my favorite companions (don't ask me why, we just clicked), and Finn is a nice example of a well-balanced mage happy with his condition, and an adorable geek.

And Finn is the polar opposite and therefore a good addition. Both would be a good couple, I think.

They were cool. If I had to pick one over the other, I'd definitely go with Ariane, but yeah. I'd like to see them again in some capacity.
Ariane
Finn
I feel the same way. It would be nice to see Ariane return. I thought she was an interesting character. I'm sure she would have an interesting perspective on Orlais and Tevinter, given the history her people has with those societies. 'We are the Dalish: keepers of the lost lore, walkers of the lonely path. We are the last of the Elvhenan, and never again shall we submit.'

BUT
The idea of a mage who was VERY comfortable in the Circle in the midst of this huge mage/templar conflict as a companion is a very interesting idea to me. Could be interesting. And he WAS a healer.
*sigh* This is what comes from making all the good healing spells a specialization; we're forced (or if not forced, then heavily pushed) towards every game having a healer companion. I so wish they would incorporate spirit healer abilities into the normal creation tree...but that's another thread.

How many people bought the DLC compared to those who didn't?
I think they already have their characters established anyway,

I would like to see Ariane again as well, but only if she's somehow involved in a Morrigan-Flemeth plot, given that she has the tome that talks about Eluvians. That said, I hope that they don't bring her back without letting her be a warrior dual-wielding swords, and I hope they don't completely butcher her face, in particular given the new design for elves.

I think a dev once commented that s/he invisioned them running off together and having adventures. Obviously not canon, but still.Ericander77 wrote...
Some romance between the 2 potentially?
On topic, I'd love to see both of them again, and of all the DA1 companions they'd be my first choices for companions over cameos.

Didn't the Talking-Tevinter-Statue-of-Ambiguous-Prophecy kind of sorta imply that Finn would be dying soon? Totally expected him to keel over at some point of that expansion. But yeah I liked him more than whatserface too. Mostly because aforementioned whatserface did more damage than my Warden.
HOW DARE SHE. XD
I don't think the statue was talking about Finn's demise but its own "deactivation". If memory serves. Been a long time since I played Witch Hunt.

She said "We will not meet again." Finn took that to mean he could die, but Finn has a touch of hypochondria about him, so naturally he would assume the absolute worst possibility.
There's a lot of non-fatal ways to interpret that prediction. Like, maybe Finn would not be returning to the tower, or she was being moved to another tower when he was away.
