Srsly? It was a 2 hour DLC and the only personality that got fleshed out at all was that Finn was OCD and Arianne was hostile during first impressions and wanted her book back. Their banter was cute but we learn virtually nothing about them.
AAaaand since I started Witch Hunt at Lvl 35 they were pre-built and unchangable. I imported better gear for both of them, which helped. Yet in the end the only reason Arianne ever stayed alive was because Finn was there with his healing and locking enemies down so they wouldn't kill her. Really, who gives a Lvl 35 warrior 20 constitution?
Alright, gameplay wasn't that relevant. So my strong point here is my first: I liked them OK, but they were not around long enough to really get to know them enough to even warrant caring if I see them again or not.
Edit: And they were not presented in a manner like Charade in which it was blatantly hinted at in teaser fashion that they would be in upcoming installments of the series.
Their 2 hours make them practically new as potential companions, though. I thought Finn was unique in the series in how he approached his magedom, and with his linguistics focus, he makes an interesting addition to the Inquisition, I think. Ariane was kind of a creme de la creme Dalish warrior, hand selected to make that trip, so that makes her interesting to me. That, and I'd love to see her interacting with a Dalish Warden again, ten years out or whatever it is.
And my characters practically never got over 22 constitution anyway. ;-) I tended to get Sten to 28, Oghren just shy of that, and Shale and Dog were very high, but that's it. My characters routinely have low constitution.
And Charade I'd love to see back, too.
