This game is a lost cause. As is, it seems, the very idea of a great game based solely on the ALIEN franchise. Shame, really.

I played it.
The game is NOT garbage.
But the game is not that great. "Okay" just isn't good enough for an Aliens game.
But there was that one epic mission where you have to use stealth.
One epic mission not worth the price of admission.

I might get it when it goes down in price! AVP in 2010 and ten Multiplayer was ideal for the Aliens!
What is your overall review on multiplayer? I heared they spent a great deal sorting it out, and yet, an inmense lag! Maybe cause the Aussies got it first.

Ever since Alien 3 (which itself stopped being completely dysfunctional movie only after director's cut!) there has been like..grand total of one or two Alien Franchise - related products that haven't been complete shït. Just ain't right ya'll:(

Heh.
I bet nothing will happen or a discreet out of court settlement.

True, which is unfortunate. In a just society somebody's head would end up on a spike.

Even if there is no legal action, I doubt Sega will let it go. With the reputation they've got themselves over this I can imagine Gearbox having trouble getting partners. The embezzlement, thats going to hang over their company for now on. If they don't smooth things over with Sega they'll have some rough times.

It really is panning out as if SEGA have been royally ripped off for their relatively princely treatment of developers (compared to most of their competitors).
We should all thank Gearbox for teaching a publisher the lesson that they should trust developers less, interfere more, give fewer extensions and force shorter turnarounds.
Slow clap.
