 I would like romance options possibly with NPC's you've allerede met. Im not surgesting Morrigan of Leliana or one of the earlyer romance options... But What about Felicia Day's Elf... What was her name?? Anyways a deeper more involved romance with her would be awesome... Instead of that ONE kiss that still haunts mé from the DLC in DA2! 

She was the charakter my Hawke could Fall in love with. She's smart, witty and verry attraktive!!

Okay so is Isabella and Merril. However... I would realt like to se Felicia Day in this one to!!

This has happened before, so it shouldn't be out of the question. Anders and Merrill are in Awakening and Origins respectively, yet are both potential love interests in DA2.

Yeah I'd also vote for Tallis' return, love interest or no (dat Qunari lore! ) Lots of people found her Mary Sue-ish though, so expect to catch some flak in this thread.

I'm not the biggest fan of Tallis. All I want to know about the Qunari is the quickest way to kill them. Plus, we already had a "quirky" elf chick.

But I guess not every romance option can be a homosexual male, that wouldn't be fair.

As long as Cassandra's there, I'm happy.
Wouldn't say no to Tallis either, though. Despite other people's opinion, I adored her. She was really funny.

I'm sure one or two of the companions will be characters that were once npcs in the previous games. Both Isabela and Merrill were minor npcs in DA:O and they both made it into full romanceable companion roles. Even Anders who was a non-romanceable companion in DA:A became a fully romanceable companion in DA2, so you never know OP you might just be in luck!

I'm personally hoping for Cullen and Cassandra as companions/LI's.

I believe Gaider said something about how if any previously romanceable characters returned they would not be available for the new MC. I was one of the ones who kinda argued (politely). I said I appreciate that if say Morrigan returns she won't leave my Warden for the new guy, but if say Zevran returns and I didn't romance him and he's still single, he should be available. I believe Gaider said something about the other way being more fair to everyone.

Talis was a Qunari relaetd character. If the game is about mages and templars I don't see why she should be back as a permanent party member.

Maybe its your new eyes are growing through old ones.

I mean i like Morrigan for example, a lot. But honestly i would rather prefer new dialogues options with her rather than ability to "kiss her" or say something like "go to the tent woman".

How strange is it that romance discussions always go like this:

pro-romance person: "Well, I'd like Cullen to be a LI. He has an interesting personality and I'd love to find out more about him."
another pro-romance person: "Yeah, Cassandra as well. Especially since she's a Seeker. It would make sense for her to be in DA3. And she seems like the sort of person tha...-"
anti-romance person: "OMG, like, can't you guys discuss something other than PIXEL SEX?!?!"
pro-romance person: "..."

Those people complaining about all the romance threads seem to be so much more focused on the sex part of the romances than anyone else on this forum.
It's almost funny.

I for one am interested to know about new characters that are available as LIs. Wasn't there a rumor about a Tevinter mage being one of them? Oh and btw, has anyone else noticed that all male romance options so far have been blond? Alistair, Zevran, Anders, even Fenris has light hair! Variety please?

@ Blackrising what the point of romance? It doubt that my LI will give me Gorechild or Gorefather or both as a gift for anniversary of our relationships. Bonuses? They are the same as for being "friend". Ok sex scene and then... nothing. No new dilaogues, no situation appraisal. You can't even just talk with them... about the weather for example.

Romances are hollow.

I like the romances, I like getting to know characters in all sorts of ways,  and a little bit of speculation and fan story crafting, and yet... I mirror your sentiments.

I really hope some NPCs return as LIs ... I know the devs find all these LI threads baffling, but is it our fault you guys write such awesome characters and romances?

I want to see Cassandra, Cullen, Alain, Lia, and Maraas the most. Yeah I know Maraas is a shot in the dark, but I'm still fascinated by the guy even a year and a half later.
