yes only way to know when it starts. i do say no because i have little bit of reason why transmitters would not work, it has to be done by hand.

It's certainly a unique experience.  Enemies 20 metres away are suddenly in your face.  Your shield is gone and you don't know why.  You're shooting something repeatedly in the head (with a Locust in this case) and their health bar just isn't going down - and then they disappear from sight entirely.

It's honestly a miracle I got 50 kills before we collectively decided to wipe out in Round 8.  I probably only have myself to blame, though - I'm in the UK, and playing at that time of night, I was more likely than not to end up on an American hosted game.

But for this operation, lag and bad PUGs are perfect.  Very cunning Bioware, making two of the major game problems work in our favour.

I noticed people are dying a startling amount LESS on Bronze since last week.... This could be actually quite difficult :/ *Is lurking behind level 1-5 players like a creepy wierdo*

It's very easy to find out. When you use the transmitter in-game does it eventually reward you with a medal? If so it obviously counts. If you still don't know about that, go and see now, it's only 5 gels.
