Hi!

I've spended all day trying to install NWN2, but I haven't solved it and I was unable to find any help on this forum solutions.

My problem is simple, the installation simply doesn't start. I'm running on Win7 x64 Ultimate.
I've tried to install directx 9, .Net Framework 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0, run the setup on administrator mode, on compatibility mode, both at the same time and even with the antivirus disabled and the result was: ANYTHING

The setup doesn't even start. Simply the windows "Was this installation worked well" popup appears (not always) and nothing else.

¿Does anybody what the hell I need to do to make it work?

I'm using a NWN2 dvd to install it (and it's in good shape )

I put my NWN2 DVD in to check some things.  There may be other printings of this DVD, but I opened the properties of the "setup.exe" and checked the version.  It identifies as InstallShield v10.0.0.159, modified 2004.  I don't have your version of Windows, but you might be able to fix it by changing your InstallShield.  Go here, and if your copy of setup.exe is the same as mine, then go down to the instructions for "If the file version number starts with 10".
