True, Onion. Can't really say much more there.

To all the people staring at Wynne's assets right now, I suspect that all female party members use the same body model (I stripped Wynne at the end of the Circle mission, as I didn't want her in my party first playthrough and I'd given her some nice stuff, and she looked prettymuch the same body-wise as Morrigan. It's kinda scary... no sagging, nothing remotely related to age... and she's what, seventy?)

Harrowmont represented tradition, conservatism and "evil" ends (like the dwarf woman's knee-caps and the guard's disregard for the Casteless) through traditional, and generally just, means. Bhelen represented liberalism, fresh ideas and strong leadership, but balls-out didn't care about the means to achieve his (admittedly quite admirable) ends. Bhelen is a tyrant, but, you could argue, so was Mao. Both had strong views, both worked hard to put them forward through any means necessary. Mao helped make China what it is today, so I hope Bhelen makes Orzammar something better as well.

Considering I'm playing a dowrf noble origin story.  Theres no way I'd back Bhelen, no matter who agreed or disagreed, if that means wynn like me alittle more because of it I'll take that ( I always find it hard to gain rep with her, must be my play style).

Now as to who has a bigger impact on the game, Leiliana or Morrigan.  Its definately Morrigan hands down, her story line right up to the proposition just before the final battle is far more fleshed out that Leiliana's.  That said on my current play though I am definately prefering having Leiliana in my party over Morrigan, must be her accent I just love it lol.

Morrgian has much bigger, that I enjoy looking at

(Read rereads the OP question)

Plot? I'd say Morrgian, soul of a demon god verus Lelinaa a cut throat ex murder. Morrgian's furutre inflince wil impact the game more directly

Ouch.

Wiki uses "Re-Categorise!"

It's very effective

Leliana take 400 points of damage

Leliana has lost the battle.

For all of Morrigan's bodacious attributes I am still in love with Lelianna. Then again, I am attracted to red hair and blue eyes. My ex-wife was a redhead with blue eyes; and over sexed. As for Lelianna it is her sweet and tender voice along with her kick butt demeanor. It's the not-so-innocent giggle that tickles my innards. Still, I wonder if in reality such a woman really like her exist? Kudos to BioWare for dreaming her up.

That being said, when the "Awakening" comes out in March I intend to keep my original characters, simply because I want to see where the relations goes. I sincerely hope that I am not disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, Wynne can be pretty cool, but I find her rigid morals and occasional obstinacy, all hidden behind a facade of impenetrable "wisdom", to be annoying. She's a great healer, and I do trust her a damn sight more than Morrigan (though I love Morrigan more as a character), but losing buckets of approval the second you make an opportunist decision (i.e: working for Bhelen, anything to do with Blood Magic) is not particularly fun. She can be rather ****y when you do anything she doesn't like, and, in a sense, pressures the Warden to do what she wants more than Morrigan does. Morrigan lets you make your own decisions, however foolish she thinks they are, and she speaks her mind about them. Wynne looks at you in disgust, and actually get pissed off.
.

If you swapped Morrigan in Wynne's names in that paragraph, it would be exactly my opinion. It's funny how views of characters in a game can vary so much from player to player.

Wynne actually changed her opinion about something she originally didn't like (my relationship). She also didn't freak out when I disagreed with her in a conversations.

Talking to Morrigan was like treading on pins and needles. I'd loose approval with her if I only hinted that I might not agree with her. Even after she finds out her mother plans to wear her like a new pair of clothes, she never questions what her mom taught her or divates from her mom's plan. Those are some rigid morals.

Wynne changing her mind...and admitting to it right away...is something that surprised me. Talking with Morrigan unless you're playing just as wicked as she is is an exercise in verbal gymnastics and intellectual evasion.

The Warden whited out....

You awake at the nearest greywardenmon centre Posted Image

Wynne played a parent role in my game, and my character always seemed to go with her advise on things.

Morrigan however knew nothing outside of the wilds so was a terrible source for advise..."Kill everything and take all the power!" opposed to "Help these people and find the road to happiness"....hmm which is more logical as a guy who lost his loving family and is desperately trying to save Thedas from a blight...?

Leliana was fun to take along, she was useful also and actually fitted into the party I had:

Me=Good-willed, brave, caring individual who he was Posted Image

Alistair=Funny, loveable and loyal.

Wynne=Motherly, strong sense of justice.

Leliana=Fun, adventurous, innocent.

And I got approval from all of them for doing good things Posted Image

Storywise, I think Leliana has a good story however it is rather irrelevant to defeating the blight. God baby wins in this point. Posted Image

Did Liliana ask you to kill her mother that turns into a dragon when you attack her? No! Answer : Morrigan.

I ignored Morrigan almost completely the first time I played through. I thought Lelianna was much more interesting.

Well, since Kethra, my "main" character, makes choices at least partially on keeping her lover happy, Leliana has a bigger impact. Morigan, besides one fight (where she wasn't even present), has had virtually no impact.

It all depends on how you use the character as to how big thier role in the game is. Sure Morrigan is involved from the very beginning but if you HATE Morrigan as much as i do then you can minimize her role in the game shortly after Lotharin. I have completed 8 plays now and in all but 2 i have relegated Morrigan to nothing. I do not use her, i do not equip her, i do not assign her talent points, i leave her in her little corner and never look back. I do not loot the grimware from Irving's office, and i blow her off when she asks about it. None of the Morrigan or Leliena stuff is integral to the story line it is quite possible to blow off all the party quests entirely and still finish the game with the exception of Allister, so in that sence neither character has a part so huge or so intergral to the story line that they can not be ignored. In the end my feeling is that neither Morrigan or Leliana have a part so integral that once the player has a choice in events either character can be ignored entirely and the game can still be done to completion. So it is a matter of choice as to who you like and who you do not.

Morrigan's are bigger. Even Leliana doesn't deny the appeal of Morrigan's assets.

However, we have the ingame implication that Morrigan's witchy bits are akin to a dead hare. Something to ponder.

...annoyance factor? Leliana for sure. Her accent and voice are the worst of it, and I want to smack her when she starts giggling when you click over to her, but when she tells you how she feels and you tell her you feel the same and she gets mad and pouty... if it weren't for the achievement, I'd have been done right then. It was quite satisfying to tell her I knew she was a crazy **** when she started in about the eye lashes though :) Other than that, I like her alright. Heh.

No doubt in my mind that Morrigan makes the bigger impact on the game though.

Also, I had Wynne with me in the Gauntlet. I also found her perfect, non-wrinkled body a bit unsettling. lol

Leliana is a sweetheart. Her accent is divine.

I like to click on locked chests with my warrior PC just to hear her say, "I can do that for you."

When she says to me, "Finished, just like you like," I always say out loud, "Wrong. If it was just like I liked, you wouldn't have said anything." My son laughs at me.

ETA: Her voice actor is good, though. There are a few NPCs, just 2 or 3, who are just horrible.

Even though Leliana is my favorite character, I have to give this to Morrigan. As some have stated Leliana does not affect main plot much while Morrigan does at end.

Overall I would put Morrigan clear, but distant, 2nd at importance to plot of companions with Alistair far ahead of her as in reality she is only optional (as nice as that option might be). Leliana would be even below Ohgren (spelling?) and Wynne as their forced on player while she never is.

Morrigan definately impacts story more but romance wise, I go with Lelianna every single time!

As for Wynne being romancable, no thanks. Im in my mature years now and Wynne way to preachy/old for even me. There no excitement or intrige with Wynne.

Plus the natural bodies app for a 60 year old woman would be, well ummm, unflaturing to say the least!

LOL No, I was being serious. I should have replaced 'few' with '2 or 3' probably instead of adding it after deciding to be more specific. Branka and Shianni both come to mind. They sound more like someone reading a story rather than someone real.

Morrigan has her own storyline that can easily carry over into an xpac or sequel. Leliana does not. Therefore, Morrigan has a bigger impact on the story.

I disagree, if you romance Leliana, hell even if you don't, there is definately a story line that could carry over. She is wanted by a her nation for treason, that's not something that's easily forgotten. There is definately xpac possibilities with her character and story line. As one that loves to play rogues hers would be far more interesting to me with the spy and intrigue, than hunting down morrigan.

Morrigan has a bigger impact on the overarching storyline.

I tend to play like a paladin though. Good, loyal, honest, moral ... ok mostly moral. So Wynne pretty much likes me. I tend to view her as more of a mother figure. There have been a couple instances though where she didn't freak out when I thought she would. One was in the mage tower and you fight a group of blood mages and you talk to one of them. You have the option of letting her go or killing her. Once I simply spared her life. No approval loss from Wynne (or anyone). The next time I spared the blood mage's life and told her to fight the darkspawn. Wynne verbally disapproved (said something like who am I to question your motives) but I lost no actual approval points.
